Hello! I'd like to make a suggestion for a new Party Game since it isn't doing so well at it's current state with just 2 games available to play. I'm hoping this game idea would draw a more larger crowd to Party Games. My game is called Resurrection and here is how it's played...

- You are placed on a team with 3 different individuals and you will be facing an opposing team with the exact same amount.

- You each have 3 splash potions which are used to revive a dead player on your team if they have been taken out by the other team.

- Each player will be equipped with a wooden sword and leather armor at the beginning, as the game progresses however, you can obtain better weapons and armor by finding shards scattered around the map. (Note that, unlike Murder, you need more shards to upgrade to each class.)

- Each game has a total of 3 rounds.

- If all players are eliminated, round ends.

- Which ever team ends up with the most wins (2 out of 3 or 3 out of 3), they obviously win!

- There is a starting base where you can use your shards to buy better armor and weapons and even more potions to revive teammates which will cost a lot of shards. Enemies cannot attack you whilst in your base due to spawn killing and will not be able to reach your base because each base will be elevated up to a certain height which will hopefully, if you include water or some sort of magic (commands), will not hurt you once you fall into the map.

Now if you'd like to add any suggestions to my suggestion you may do so and the staff can handle it on from here whilst taking your suggestions into consideration. I'd really love to see this game implemented into Party Games and I hope you all enjoy this suggestion too, thank you! <3

I do see potential in this game and would love to see it in Party Zone! However I have a few questions:

-If the opposite team can't attack you while you are at your base, wouldn't players abuse that ability by just staying in their base the whole time?
-I don't think 'buying' splash potions to revive a player would help because then the game would take forever when everyone starts reviving the others.
-Again, there should be a time limit for each round so that they can't just stand there and do nothing.
-Another thing is that I don't think the game should have 3 rounds due to Ditto and Freeze Tag only having one round per game.
-The name Resurrection means, (and I quote) "Resurrection is the concept of coming back to life after death. In a number of ancient religions, a dying-and-rising god is a deity which dies and resurrects." I don't think we need to bring in religious stuff in Party Games. However I do understand why you called it Resurrection but I just don't think it's a 'great' name for this game. (Just my opinion though)

That's about it.

Thanks for your suggestions, no idea can be complete on the first attempt without some sort of issue.

To your first question, very true, I suppose staff can implement a way for them to be removed from the base out on to the map in random locations near their base after a short period of time.

Your second question, as I said, they will be much more expensive than other items.

Third, if I were to make a time limit, probably 2 minutes per round, although it is whatever the staff are comfortable with as this is a suggestion and is open to more. If there are no wins between each team, or it's a 1 - 1, or even if they have the same amount of kills one round, then a death match will begin with the best equipment to fight them off WITHOUT potions. Thanks for that one.

Fourth, as you asked about time, it can vary depending on everyone's opinion.

Fifth, then you all can vote on a name if that's what most would prefer.

Loved your suggestions, thank you! <3

I have a few questions;
1. Will the location of the shards be obvious or implicit?
2. Could you maybe make a list of obtainable items that people can gain; Armour, weapons etc.
3. How will players earn the item from the shards? Will the shards act as a currency that players will need to use to physically purchase the items (if so, what will be used to act as a shop) or will their gear automatically upgrade?
4. Will there be power-ups in the game?
5. What will the size of the maps be?

I think players should be able to attack the opposing while in their base, but when players spawn they have a few seconds of invulnerability until they attack someone.

Thank you for the questions,

To your first question, depending on the map, the locations of shards could be both. They will spawn more commonly however because of the amount of players that need to get shards to buy more expensive things but not too much that the expensive items are easy to obtain.

Question two, here's a list: (In sets, once you buy the next upgrade all of the items are upgraded to the next tier)

Leather Set: 0 shards required (starting equipment)

1x Wooden sword
1x set of leather armor
3x potions (included in all sets)

Gold Set: 5 shards required

1x Golden sword
1x set of golden armor
3x potions

Chainmail Set: 15 shards required

1x Stone sword
1x set of chainmail armor
3x potions

Iron Set: 25 shards required

1x Iron sword
1x set of iron armor
3x potions

Diamond Set: 50 shards required

1x Diamond sword
1x set of diamond armor
3x potions

Buyable Items:

1x potion - 40 shards
1x bow (not enchanted) - 50 shards
1x bow (enchanted with flame) - 70 shards
Note: Bows come along with 20 arrows which don't cost any shards.

Question four, I believe I said you will be able to buy items in your base. Shards will act as in-game currency and an NPC will be placed in the base to act as the shop.

Question five, there could be power ups like Downgrade but let's make them more unique.

Question six, maybe 90 x 90 or 80 x 80, since there are a lot of shards, we can't afford to use smaller maps.

I agree with that as well, thanks for your questions and suggestions! <3

P.S. Once you buy an item, the shards go back down to 0 unless you have more than the bought item(s).

Uh, no idea where you're quoting that from but it's frankly pretty wrong
res·ur·rec·tion
ˌrezəˈrekSH(ə)n/
noun
  1. the action or fact of resurrecting or being resurrected
Definition of resurrect
  1. transitive verb
  2. 1: to raise from the dead
resurrection

[rez-uh-rek-shuh n]

noun
1.
the act of rising from the dead.

^dictionary.com, merriam-webster and Google right there, you seem to have taken some liberties with the difference between resurrection and Resurrection and choosing the dictionary's definition rather than taking the top hit

While there absolutely *can* be religious connotations, there's no real reason that anyone would assume a minecraft minigame is religious

I agree, like etgarar said, I do see potential in this game and could possibly attract many people to party zone.
