Rejected Removing I disagree button

As true as this is, unfortunately half the time the button it's used, it's used as a "dislike" button to be petty toward someone. I'm not saying everyone does this, but I've seen quite a lot of "I Disagree" buttons being pushed on posts that don't even need one, like someone introducing themselves?

It also been very well known to be used as a dislike button instead of a respectful I disagree button.

I’d like to appreciate how polite you were when you stated your opinion. Thank you for that.

I am aware that people unfortunately do use the I Disagree button as a dislike button which is sad. Your example states a major section (Introductions) where spamming of I Disagree’s occur.

If reporting doesn’t work out, I would private message a staff member screenshots of where you see unnecessary ratings and then explain what you are witnessing thoroughly so they can understand the how you are seeing the issue.

Edit- I agree with having this locked, since the majority doesn’t think this should be implemented, @Catten @jedijoe

Not to be rude, but you cannot see who has been punished. You would not know if any action has been taken about spamming disagrees. It's punishable, and people have been punished for it. So, actually, we do.

It’s unfortunate people are deliberately spamming people with “I Disagrees”, due to the fact someone may have disagreed.

I think we all agree (besides Tyler, TimeLord and the guy with lots of numbers in his name) that this shouldn’t be implemented/the button shouldn’t be removed.
