Freya's lungs burned as she ran deeper into the forest. The gloomy atmosphere crept through the trees as the moon slowly rose into the sky. THUNCK. Halting to the noise, Freya peaks around the bush to find Ra and Neusan tangled from running into each other. That's when she stepped forward for answers.
"What happened with burning down the supplies? The Alish camp now know that we've been messing with their army and transports." Once Ra and Neusan unraveled themselves, Ra pointed blame.
"Nesan though that 'team co-op' meant solo ride and ditched me when we were about to set it aflame."
"Oh so it's my fault that you didn't know how to light a fire."
"I'm a Dryad, fire can kill me."
"See that's the problem." Neusan pointed out.
"What?" Ra snapped. Freya tried to warn Neusan to be quiet. But he ignored her warning.
"Your a Dryad. You don't know how to fight. You'r a creature that's meant to be stupid and weak. You can't even scare anyone, least kill someone because of your soft heart. What are you gonna do? Jump up behind someone and giggle Ra?" The trees fell silent as darkness slithered its way through the gaps. Ra was shaking furiously, her eyes glowing the slightest ting of green.
"It's people like you is the reason why we Dryads are so looked down upon! We're only taken seriously if we have a special connection with the gods! But guess what! I'm sick and tired of it! I could do anything! Just like you. I only joined because I wanted to fight for freedom like I fought when to break my connection with my tree. Demons are so unreliable because they ditch you the first chance they have! So what else am I expecting from a demon? Besides from it trying to kill you all the time?" Vines had sprouted from her feet and grew like threatening octopus tentacles. Neusan was deadly quiet and Freya was frozen.
