Lack of Interest Quick Report ~ /Staff

Idea
So the idea is, if you were to have found a hacker but cannot provide screenshots immediately, and you need to be able to contact a staff straight away. But sometimes, you dont know which staff are on or they're /msg is disabled.
So they're should be a command.
/Staff {message}
So how it works is that if you found a hacker, or etc. You can do /staff and report them and it will notify any online staff, just in case you're in a sticky situation.

Information
• When you use /staff, it will not reveal the online staff, it will only notify them.
• If used as a way of asking for attention from staff, the player would probably be punished
• This is mostly just for if you find a hacker and are unable to screenshot, but it can be used if someone is repeatedly spamming/swearing in chat

Example
You come across a hacker flying around the lobby of downgrade, but cannot provide screenshots because you do not have imgur/lightshot/or any media that can help.

"Guys hes hacking! Someone get a helper/mod!" ~ Bob75
"I dont know if any staff are online..." ~ Sebastian86333
"I can help!" ~ JenniferLopez768

"/staff They're is a hacker in lobby 2, flying around. His name is HackerBoi123. Please help."

A staff member will then be notifed and will recieve the message and will most likely head to the lobby, and give the hacker/etc they're punishment if they witness the hacker/etc themselves.
If no staff are online, the message will be recieved when logged on, aslong as one member has seen it, it will not resend to another staff member later on.

Cons
• Possibilty staff could get spammed
• Might not even be used
• It might take a while to install the plugin
• If the only staff online is afk, you're in trouble
• People might abuse the command

Pros
• If you cannot screenshot, or provide the screenshots on imgur/lightshot/etc, you can quickly notify staff
• The staff can be hidden and do they're job secretly
• Players do not have to /msg staff in hope they're msg is enabled
• If staffs msg is off, players dont have to worry about having to msg them

This would have been amazing when I had my old computer, and I could barely record anything. A much better take on the "/staff" command suggestions, but the execution word may need to be different because, well, /staff still already exists. Maybe to lower spam, the command can have a cool down of about 5-10 minutes?

I like this mainly because of the fact that many players either don't have imgur or any other image uploading website (a cough cough me),
or just to the fact that by the time that some players that have screenshots upload them and staff notice, it's too late and the hacker is offline.

That sounds about right, definitely will be added!
Also about the name change, it wont be necessary, because only staff can use /staff
So when a player uses it, it will work differently

That is mostly why i suggested that, i myself DO have imgur. But i have seen and heard from many people that they cannot get these sites and sometimes they have a broken key. *cough* my old pc *cough* also yes, sometimes the hacker goes offline, and sometimes the mod/staff will go offline and end up forgetting. I've had it happen.

I think this should definitely be added!

Well, ultimately people should be collecting either picture or video evidence of the player not following the rules and reporting them. Not trying to tell a staff member. If it was a hacker and you didn't manage to get evidence, then you can always just message the name to a staff member. Usually you'd see a staff member in Creative Plots. Otherwise you can message them via forums. -1 from me, sorry boo. Although I do appreciate the suggestion and thought put into it though.

This is a really useful suggestion. And for those who can't access any media to upload their screenshots, this will be very helpful. The only thing that could be bad is what you stated above. That staff members could get spammed, and if that's the case, how could it be prevented? Or how could it be stopped? Other than that this is a useful command in my opinion.

Thanks but you see, some people cant get those screenshots or websites to prodouce them.
Also sometimes staff tend to turn off msgs. And that happens frequently.
But i do see your point and where your coming from

In my opinion, I'm on the fence. There are many pros, but yet some cons that could turn the server into complete chaos, well actually, I'm sorry but I don't agree with this suggestion -1

This doesnt have a use for it at the current moment. There is a decent amount of staff and it's easy to access them from creative and forums. The only real pro here is that it is easy and fast to contact staff. Yet that will just make it harder for staff. Staff have other duties to attend to.

True, but they're is also times staff are not always in creative. And sometimes people get away.
Mostly why i made the thread.
Even with screenshot buttons, he was only there were a short while so i didnt get a chance. Hes probably banned now, because this was ages ago. But i see what your talking about. And i agree with half of it.

The problem is that often when staff aren't online its because they are asleep or at school, so having this wouldn't instantly summon a staff member. That being said this has been discussed many times over the years but has always seen to be something that would hassle staff more than it would help players. You can message the moderation team on the forums, even a name is enough to be added to our system for staff to check up on them. I don't dislike the idea, I would like to see something similar to this in the future, but im just a lowly teaveloper.
