Special place under the stars
I just want to know what High School is like, especially if you live in Britian! I am preparing to go up there and I just want to know if it is really hard and scary!

It's dumb.. but you need it.. so it's not dumb.. only sorta

It's very stressful, don't overwork yourself your first year but don't do what I do and scramble at the end of the year to get your grades up to passing. Also be prepared for people to get judgier and meaner, just ignore them, you won't see these people again in a few years anyways.

Also D- is passing just remember.

Also D- is passing just remember.

Don't be a bad influence speed.

How to survive high school.

My school also does numbers 1-9 instead of grades. Just be yourself, if people don't like you, they don't deserve to be your friend. Make sure you make a lot of friends! Study, study and study! <-- To acheive more. Join clubs, try not to get detentions. Be your fabulous self in general :D<3:thumbs-up:

It's essentially a more mature version of primary school. Pay attention in lessons and make sure to always ask for help if you're struggling with something, it'll definitely benefit you and probably others around you too. You don't really learn everything you need to at school, so if you feel you're missing out on something you can always teach yourself using the internet!
Be yourself, trying to act like someone completely different the whole time you're there won't work out very well, and you'll regret pretending. You'll figure stuff out once you actually get there though, so just stay relaxed when you do start and it'll be pretty good. c:

Swearing.
Rude remarks.
Adult humour.

You understand 100/100 of all of their remarks in the first week. FUN

Stupid subjects
Boring teachers
Moody teachers
Loud teachers
Studying, the one thing i find fun.
New friend opportunities
Trips (going places)
They make you watch movies sometimes.
Fun

Well I go to a American scool won't be much help.
Focus on school and other important things. And don't forget to have fun!
Honestly high school isnt what people make it to be. Just another 4 years of learning.
Ps. Good luck!

Well I live in the USA

Some things I've learned are:
- Drama is really unnecessary, as much as it happens it's also really easy to stay away and not involve in feuds.
- Peer pressuring happens quite a bit, I am usually the one to say no to things I would not do and it is close to impossible to change my mind; id suggest you do the same.
- Grades are important, even through the end of the semester it is still really important to keep your grades up. Even though you may not have motivation to do so, I hope you're able to keep them up.
- You should just be yourself, it's a lot better than just faking the entire year. Then you'll know your friends truly like you for you.

High school isn't portrayed correctly in movies to be honest. There's not always "cliques" and the "mean girl". Just know it's a lot easier than you think. It's just like middle-school.

Just remember, stay focused, grades up, be yourself, and just have fun. You should also participate in school activities, you might regret not doing so! Good luck!

High school is so much fun, but you have to study.

Just kidding, not in or ever have been in high school.
