Somebody has probably already suggested this but i think i will do it because i havent seen it

What will it contain?

Recent promotions
Recent demotions/resignations
Murder leaderboard
Downgrade leaderboard
Player of the week (Maybe)
Interview with a staff

How to get it
You automatically get it in hub but you can do /news to get a copy of it
It will be updated everyweek

Extra:
I realise the staff are very busy so i would always be happy to write it

One thing I don't like, is the demotions / resigning feature. Some staff do not wish to talk about it.

Would it include gossip?
Why would we need this, all of our news in on the forums ?
Who would review it?
 
I personally think it would be better on the forums! Just an idea.

What kind of gossip? No rumours or any stuff that could upset anyone
Well we could have it on the forums but I'm suggesting an official one
I don't know, you would be surprised how many people would check it i think, especially the people who don't have a forums account, its a good way to stay updated

About the staff demotions and resignings the writer of the News Whoever that may be must ask them before putting it in, like in real life.

Yes but there might be some people who want to know whats going on but have no clue about the forums

Then maybe PZ can annouce it? Like how every now and then in chat it says "Check out our new games Ditto and Freezetag" or "Join our forums [Link]". It could say something along the lines of "Check out our Weekly News! [Link]". Just an idea, I hope that makes since.

Sometimes people don't think before they write, this would be a disaster waiting to happen -0

And, of course, there can be people telling you false information. The idea is good, but there are more cons then there is pros.
 
We now have an official newsletter that you can read here! It's not in-game but is on the forums, if you feel you'd like to see something added to if feel free to comment on that thread!
