Not a good title for explaining it sorry about that.

So with the whole arrangement of doors, minecarts, anything else that I forget you can activate... I beleive plots should be able to chose if they want this to be active. Such as I were to want to go into someones house I would need to ask them to either add me to the plot or disable the current idea stuff so that I can open doors.

So players can enjoy public builds where they can do roleplays, enjoy the owner-'s builds, and stuff without the need to add them to the plot
Default setting will be active

@Inferaptor made me think of the idea

Thanks for reading <3

YES pleaseeeeeee

Only wooden things are considered public. This is because everything made of wood always had an additional way of opening. Wooden buttons could be hit with arrows, Pressure plates with items, doors could be glitched through. If you use stone/iron pressure plates, buttons, etc, they will not be public. If you guys really don't like this mechanic, please let us know, though! We'll take a look at it if that's the case.

One of the things we wanted to do was make it so that for people who make things like rollercoasters and waterslides that people made were usable by the public, so people could do things like enter minecarts, press buttons, etc, without needing to be added to the plot.

We'd also rather not make it a per-plot basis (aka having some plots where wooden doors are allowed and some where they're not), as it can be a bit confusing. Instead, we'd rather have universal rules that encompass all plots and stay consistent.

Not really sure how this would prevent any griefs, though... two people have replied saying how this setting would make griefs less prevalent. The worst possible grief that this setting would prevent is that people wouldn't be able to open a door if they aren't added to the plot.

From my understanding. About the wooden things only useable by one way is sorta annoying and sometimes people don't know how to use them, so they get added to the plot and they is a chance they will grief. Another way for griefs is Roleplays. User won't be able to place and break stuff. BUT, they can use doors, buttons, and pressure plates to enter any area and plot staff can actually wall off an area without someone poking around there.

This just makes the owner decipher where everyone goes on each plot.
True, it could make it a good game assistant on creative, but we're copying another network and people will just beg you to open doors. I don't agree with this. It's just prohibiting guest movement around the plot. Wooden things would be public since they can be activated with several other things. Iron things should be hit with this, not the wooden. Wooden doors are often used for roleplays. I agree with @Deanveloper. I dunno how to rate.
