Drip. Drip. Drip.
Rain poured down the dirt path, the lamps lighting the road that cut through the moor. Absol pulled her hood closer, glancing around as she sprinted down the path, attempting to find shelter from the harsh rain. She hadn't expected such a downpour, leaving most of her stuff at home. The groaning of zombies practically flooded her ears, managing to be heard over the thunder and rain.
She continued sprinting, clutching an old looking book under her cloak, sheltering it from the water hailing down upon her. She finally spotted what she was look for, a mountain that spiked up was certainly noticeable. Twitching her ears below the hood, although the sound of the rain thudding all around her was almost deafening, she could hear the loud groaning of zombies, the clicking of bones as skeletons roamed, the hissing of spiders.
She quickly turned, darting down the stone path that branched off the dirt road towards the mountain. She halted for a brief moment at the base of the steep climb, looking up towards her destination.
It was a mansion. The mansion. The one she had been invited to. She paused underneath the shelter of an oak tree, pulling her hood down. Her ears stood up as she pulled out an envelope from her cloak, opening it and reading it to herself quietly once more.
"Dear fellow adventurer, You have been specifically selected along with a group of other individuals for an evening of festivities, dinner, and storytelling. It will most certainly be worth the visit.
Everyone who comes will receive a free stack of diamond ores. Come of your own accord.
We do hope you care to join us."
She had no idea who the card was from. It had suddenly appeared in front of her, seemingly fallen from the sky somehow. She didn't understand, she didn't question. The only reason she was going was to get out of the storm and swarm of zombies and other monsters that lurked beyond her line of vision.
Plus, who in their own sane mind would refuse the possibility of sixty four diamond ores? Mined with the correct tools, who knows how many diamonds she could snag from that? It was an offer she certainly could not turn down.
She ran up the side of the mountain, managing to encounter no monsters as she made it to the door, knocking a few times rapidly. The iron doors suddenly opened, and she stumbled inside, nearly tripping over her cloak, leaving a small puddle of water behind her.
The doors slammed shut, and as she turned to look suddenly zombies were at the door, trying their hardest to break the unbreakable door down.
Well, seemed like she wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Hey guys! I'm not sure if I'll get around to finishing this, but I've had this little idea for a story series for a while. For this series I'll only include staff just so I can keep it short, but if I make another series based around this I may include others.
What's the plot of this? Well, you'll see.
