My team leader was leading me around this unfamiliar village. I remembered she said her name was Candela, an odd name. I remembered the enthusiasm she said when she announced I was on her team. Someone cared. Maybe that was part of her job. "You're probably wondering how you ended up here," She said. I nodded "Well, it was fate. Partially. We decided it was Red's fate to discover it. We decided it was both you and Red's fate to go hunting for something cool. We decided it was all three of your fates to end up here. If someone else were to press the buttons, which is unlikely, they wouldn't have ended up here. Now, welcome to our gym." She said and opened the door to the gym. Other people were there with weird creatures. Someone walked up to me. "Hey I'm Ash! Welcome to team valor. You must be Aiden." He said. I nodded in confusion. How do these people know my name?! "Our mascot is a Moltres." Ash said. "Wh-whats that?" I shuddered in confusion. "It's a Pokémon!" Ash responded. I looked at Candela confused. Ash's mouth dropped open. "You don't know what that is?!" Ash said very surprised. I shook my head. Candela spoke up for me "Forgive him, Aiden. He's very passionate about Pokémon. Why don't you explain to him the world of PokéZone, Ash?" Candela asked with a sweet tone in her voice but something that could hypnotize anyone. Ash took me by the arm and showed me around the gym while explaining what Pokémon were. "More powerful than humans," Ash said. "Let me show you everyone and their Pokémon, and I'll explain gym battles, badges, and PokéBalls."
