General /pnick comand

You said you could use two colors and only 3 characters per color, so if my username was more than 6 characters, I would have the default color in there as well.

See, that's more than one color.
No oml sorry im tired of explaining.

Above said thing
Dad&6dab&9day

Would not be allowed and default is a is identified as a color. Only 2 colors would be used not 3.

This can be done by words being broken into 2 sections and the breaks are A if there is no &(num) infront then adding any other &

Alright, I think I understand more now.
So if your username is over 6 characters, you can change your name to have one other color in it?

I guess if you wish to put it that way yet 2 colors because the default color is already a color.

I'm still going to be keeping -1 because even though there would be less colors, practically every player would be using them, making chat look very colorful (which is not usually that good).

I think the main reason this shouldn't be added is because it can be used to impersonate staff members as said above. For example, one can pretend to be a staff member and spread that the staff they're imitating has "resigned".

Also, I think the suggestion was just to change the colour. This would not be possible as it'd allow you to change your nickname to whatever you'd like.

(edit) I can also see this being abused with inappropriate names.

1. Resigned staff don't have anything special. Not to be rude yet they are regular players and anyone can really claim this. What I am worried about is the staff colors. Also the players will most likely look the shop before then or see oyher players with this. Yet this is a ok point to make.

2. As stated above by OP the person can't change their nick.

Then make a on/off switch and default to off for seeing the colors. A message could pop up randomly such as udates or streams and a message could be tips. Then blaa and blaaa and it does the stuff.

This is all just unnecessary in my opinion.

If one is given permission to change colours in their nickname then this will also allow them to change it to whatever they'd like as you have to add the different colours changing the whole nickname. Again, this is all completely unnecessary and whilst it'd be a good perk for ranks I think it's just not needed. We have better perks for ranks such as /glow which was recently added.

Not needed is never a good argument.

If its possible and would give a little more than plain old stuff then why not? Give me something else besides why not then sure I will accept your statement.
...
You are really changing or adding a nickname just colored names. And with all the other things suggested
1. Limited colors; non staff/special colors only, no light colors, and limited colors(2) in a name. As well on and off switch with its default off.

Just adding more reasons why can added to reasons why not add it.
