General Perks for E/E+

So recently (past few months) I've noticed a lot of discussion around perks for ranks. I thought I'd go ahead and put in a few of my own ideas for some additional perks on the current ranks.

I won't be suggesting anything for VIP/VIP+. I think they've got plenty of perks compared to their prior ranks. Just my personal opinion.​

Two ideas for some ELITE perks include the following:​

• A snowball gadget in the lobby, similar to the snowball fights that were in the lobby last year (might've been the year before). Throw snowballs at people!​
• 1x name in murder. 1x name in murder generally isn't that much in murder anymore, given how many names have been purchased/given out over the years.​

Some ideas for ELITE+ perks that I had are:​

• Increasing the name in murder count from 1x to 4x. Not a huge change but 1x doesn't feel like much in my opinion. Same reason as giving ELITE 1x.​
• A firework gadget in the lobby - would launch a small firework with a cooldown of 45 seconds to ensure minimum lag.​
• Access to type in italics in creative. Doesn't really stand out too much in chat, but it'd be a very neat perk to have. Staff would still be the only ones with access to bold or colored chat of course.​

I think a few visual perks for Murder would be nice, too. Maybe a special win thing. Instead of the fireworks, maybe it could be something a bit more... special?

Could you be more specific? I like the idea of giving E+ something a bit more special for that, but I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

You know when you win a murder game, there are fireworks that go around the murderer (if they won) or the person who killed the murderer? Maybe something else for E+, would be nice. I don't have any ideas of what this could be yet, though.

Honestly, I feel these most suggestions are perfect. They aren't life-changing perks but they still are noticeable. It's a great place to start adding more perks.

I love the lobby gadgets, I feel like you've given us some great ideas and I'd love to see these implemented in future updates.
I specifically enjoy your suggestion of increasing the number of "Name in Murder" from 1x to 4x because I feel that for the price players are paying for perks, having only 1x isn't much of a perk as compared to 4x.

Though, I am going to have to disagree with the italics suggestion. I agree it would be neat but I just don't see it benefitting the network. I feel like it would only increase chat clutter, specifically with advertisements.

I see your point with this, but I honestly don’t think italics would be overused by E+. I don’t see many of them advertising anything in chat, and I doubt they’d use it very often honestly. But people are paying over 100 dollars for E+, and they deserve more to make stand out way above the other ranks. Just my opinion though.

I kinda agree with Cat as well. I love all of these suggestions, except for italics. Yeah, italics would be cool to have, but as you said here, if you don't see very many people using it that much, then why implement this anyways. The developers already have a lot on their hands, so I think more important stuff should be released before releasing italics.

I still love these ideas, and as an E+ would love more options for lobby gadgets and getting x4 in murder instead of x1. +1

ELITE and ELITE+ and certainly rather underperked and I believe these small additions would significantly increase their value.

They’re very creative ideas and I’d love to see all of them implemented, I’m sure our donors would adore them, too.

Definitely some interesting suggestions. Will definitely look over the possibility of being able to implement some, if not all, of these. On top of that, we will be reviewing our current set of perks for each rank and what we can do to alleviate the issue of them potentially being under-perked.
