General Party Zone's Death Date

Do you know what would happen if the medical community did that? I mean, sometimes they know that death is inevitable, however, we have less info then them, so we still don't know how soon it's going to die. It might be in a month, it might be in a year +.
I still think we can revive it, if we take the right steps, but y'know.
We're probably not going to change eachother's mind, so it's probably pointless continuing this.

yes. accept death. if someone is going to die and we can prevent it we do what we can. we cant prevent this dying. the numbers show its dying, mc is dying as a whole. theres nothing we can do, there is no medicine that grants us players back. theres no way to revive it, as i said your hope is misplaced. think realistically.

I think there is.
Could you prove there is no way by disproving everybody's ideas?
 
Here shows that players still play PartyZone and it's not just 20. That there is proof that about 80 players were just online, all at the same time. It may be dying, yeah, but it isn't dead. I personally don't see that a death date should be needed (yet) for PartyZone.

I agree with @EliTheTurkey that there are a few ways to help revive PartyZone. There's an unofficial discord team (MerakiZone) that is working on advertising the server. It's fully made up of staff members and players. (See the thread Here). I wouldn't create a death date for PartyZone seeing as it's too early to say it's dead.

There isnt. I just explained to you how the life cycle works and clearly PZ is going through its last stage. What do you mean disprove others ideas?

Well, its still pretty low for the peak PZ hit at some points. It got very high. Now its declined. 80 or 20 its still gone down significantly. Yes it is dying thank you for acknowledging that. The Death Date is just so we know when to expect it to die so we can enjoy it, as opposed to an announcement "closing in 2 days! enjoy ur last moments!". We can expect this weeks in advance.

Those methods wont revive PZ. This is just not happening. No discord will revive it. This is false hope.

We haven't tried them, we don't know.
 
While I can't say what'll be happening just yet, I can say that PZ won't be going anywhere anytime soon, nor are there any plans to do such a thing.

As of this moment, things are stagnant. I won't make promises just to ease hope, however, just know there are plans to improve PZ. Stating what we're planning is for all intents and purposes useless because action is what needs taking, which I know is what you want to see happen. I can tell you that we're so close to finally seeing some kind of action to doing what actually needs to be done to bring positive changes to the network.

As mentioned, I make no promises on what will be done, but I can promise something will be done in due time. There's just a couple hurdles we're in the works of overcoming first, and then we can actually focus on what made and still makes this network great; its community.

We are listening.

And if nothing is done? If nothing improves? If the player count continues to decline? Would then be an appropriate time to acknowledge the inevitable and consider this idea? I'm not saying I don't believe you here, take this as a... hypothetical situation.

Realistically, it wouldn't make sense to give a date when a network would close unless the decision was already made to close it. But until that point, we'll continue to work on improving the network's situation.

Fair enough. I guess the decision to close it would come first yes, but have you seen the numbers for the server? Is it making profit, or the opposite? Is the player count high enough to warrant such spending on running the server? And how can you improve the network's situation at this point, fixing bugs? Surely that would help, but the player counts gone down, and I don't see any way to fix that one.

I understand. As mentioned, I don't want to give promises to anything yet because too many promises have been broken in the past. After all, it's the community that helps keep this going. Thanks for the support, I hope you'll stick with us!
 
I've been on pz since when it first opened and joined te forums to only buy vip. Looking at the player stats I know a lot of people who have been falsely banned PERMANENTLY including me. I could name several people but I would only get in trouble. But I agree that the death date should happen. With the harsh punishments of PZ and the dying player base and infrequent updates all playing roles in the death I'm sure most of us agree. (Ps staff I don't need another link to te appeal)

Also I’d hate for PZ to die out literally I met so many good people on this server and they all just faded like ghosts and I did as well. I like to check out the forums every once in a while. Me saying I think the server should go out would be selfish but at this point it’ll happen soon if things don’t change it would be better that way then seeing your friends just vanish this way you’ll be able to say goodbye.

What exactly do you think a death date is gonna do? Bring us into the knowledge that our favourite server is losing viability (I don't think that's the right word rip)? We're doing whatever we can to make sure PZ is running. Our unofficial YouTube team MerakiZone is working on videos to advertise our server.

Most people actually joined the server because famous YouTubers actually played Murder on our server. I'm one of those people. Now that those YouTubers have stopped creating Minecraft content, we don't have a lot to go on, and we're not getting a lot of new players.

you are asking me what a death date is gonna do, so... its going to decide a date when the server should stop being invested in. yeah i dont know what you mean in that second sentence, and doing whatever you can isnt enough tbh. Its already dying and its out of your control, you cant magically make people who were interested in minecraft come back and just be interested again. Everyone who once played has now grown up and the new generation is being lost to Fortnite and such.

There's no point defending this suggestion. It's clear it's not going to make it past the feedback team. All players in the feedback team, or any insights team, love and are dedicated to PZ. You can try your best but if you're going to start arguments, which you've already done by creating the thread, you might need to take a short break.

This isn’t trying to start an argument it’s a suggestion there’s a difference, and if you’re gonna get tilted over an idea that would be best for the server then you’re not a true fan of PZ it’s just eventually gonna start to go down more than it is. What’s there to save if the community is already gone. The MINECRAFT POPULATION as a whole is a dead community. My point, what players are we gonna attract. Another thing is all the bigger servers have the same games PZ does that actually work. Who wouldn’t be attracted to those over PZ. Partyzone. Is. On. The. Skin. Of. Their. Teeth.
