Let me put it in perspective of a plot owner.

So. You have to log off the server during your roleplay.
You come back the next day to find it chopped to 1 block with W/E.

So, to the perspective of a suggestion, I vote that when an Owner logs off, people are not allowed to build or do anything on the plot. This will...

1 - Stop online griefs.
2 - Discourage griefers.

But the cons?

1 - Could trap people inside. [Ez to fix. A /stuck command could be used.]

OR, an alternative, could be a command that neutralizes the plot, unadding everyone, thus giving the griefer way less time to grief.

I hope the screenshot was shown, this is my first time posting a screenshot.
But, in bad news, the plot was chopped to 1-block high. That's not good.

So if you wish to lower the griefer population of MCPZ, vote it to be implemented.

I do not think this should be implemented, this is a good idea however many people want builders or to encourage builders to keep building. On rps you can add everyone by doing [ /plot add * ] and unadd everyone by doing [ /plot unadd * ] so I find this quite un-useful. I trust people on my plot that are added, and if you don't just unadd them. As simple as a b c.

Again, there is already a command for this and it is [ /plot unadd * ] it will unadd everyone in your plot and you can just re-add those who are trusted...

Another con of this is that it could lag people a lot and as you said before trap people.
Discourage griefers.
LOL! Ok, first off, most griefers w/e grief... so I doubt it would discourage griefers cause' they could still do it whilst the owner is online... and as I said before there is already a command for this.

Well, staff can already fix that, so is it really considered a problem? Staff try to keep griefing low and there hasn't been one in a pretty long time. Plus most 'griefs' are caused because of lag... and help everyone because your plot is very laggy.
I vote that when an Owner logs off, people are not allowed to build or do anything on the plot. This will...
This will increase lagging whilst online, and despite the owner not being on the plot, griefing can still happen.
That's not good.
Most griefs are done for a reason, either you griefed them, or your plot is causing a lot of lag. So most people like griefs, and most of the time friends like to play pranks on each-other so I doubt the friends would like this...
So if you wish to lower the griefer population of MCPZ
This wouldn't decrease the amount of griefing, in fact I think it would increase the amount of griefs. The griefers would see the as an invitation. Here is how it would probably go," Oh boy! A thread that says everybody would get unadded with the owner logging off, PSH! That won't stop me. I bet I could outsmart this dumb thing, let's see. I GOT IT! I could grief in the day when everybody is in school. This would be AWESOME and help me not get caught. I am the smartest villain EVER!" And let me tell you, nobody wants that. So in behave of all friends, family, griefers, people who like giving gifts, staff members, I rate this a -1 and just continuing, we don't need money wasted. Quote by- @Pqndar

Or you can use common sense and only add people you trust, if you're grief just report the plot, we don't need wasted money on this.

I honestly don’t believe this is necessary for the following reasons:
  • It will prevent friends from working on group projects whilst the plot owner is offline. This is extremely inconvenient and may lead players to being bored when on creative as they are unable to work on projects etc.
  • Alternatively, if you are conscious that your plot will be griefed, you can remove them before you log off.
Thanks for the suggestion though, any suggestions will help PartyZone thrive. :)

Well, I'm not too familiar with plot commands, but just do /plot unadd before you log off?
I don't know, do it if you're cautious.
Thanks!

You do /plot remove to remove players, yeah.

a common reason you give someone building access is for when you cant be online and generally it can be an irl friend or someone reliable... sooooo no.
