Forums Notification For Sale

Recently I've noticed the banner for the summer sale of 60% which is really cool and makes people aware about the sale but it gets annoying after a while as it never goes, I'd like to suggest the option to generally click close on it with the "x" button on right hand corner, as that's apparently not there.
Many other forums have this option and it being there for every single time you visit forums and not leaving is quite annoying.

Summary - Add an option to close the notification on a sale or any other general notification banner on-top.

I’ve had this same frustrating issue for a while, and it would be nice to be able to close the ad out.


However, if you keep seeing it, you grow on it. People eventually learn to either ignore it or buy something. Even then it won’t ever go away, so I have to agree with you. +1 from me!

you literally only need to see it once to go "oh hey there's a sale"

If you've ever been to a different server you would've seen you can close them and seeing the notification once would've been enough because I got the point the first time I saw it, as an active member in forums it eventually gets pushing and I will not want to buy anything because it'll get annoying overtime.

I agree it can be really annoying not being able to close it. i think we should at least have the option to be able to get rid of it or not
