New system of murder question

When your offline dose your karma go away cause i was online At 7 And i had 1000 karma now i only have 480 Karma Dose it change or did i get hacked

I assume that karma doesn't go away but the karma system is so confusing to me i am sure it's just some sort of bug problem and you didn;t get hacked

Karma system was changed recently so it might not be very stable. It should improve soon.
