The only worry I have with the game is the R in the lobby. It should stand out more. But other than that, great game Dean! Like you said, the game really matched with the community and I can't wait for more surprises by the admins.

Also, I have a question, how long did the planning, coding, building etc. take?

Well, technically 2 years. We started it 2 years ago and tried to release it along side Splatoon, which didn't end up working out as we couldn't finish it in time. When we heard Splatoon 2 was coming out, we resumed development again. We probably worked on it for around 5-6 months total.

Fun fact: we originally had planned a resource pack for it, which would retexture all of the items/blocks to be more like they are in Splatoon. We made a couple weapons but eventually decided against it in order to make sure it still has that minecraft-y feel.

NEIGHHHHHH
there's not much players playing it..

▶ INTRODUCING OUR NEWEST GAME, SPLATTER!
Over the last few months we've been working somewhat secretly to bring you guys some awesome new content on the network. We're now proud to fully release our first full-sized game since Downgrade, Splatter!

Splatter is a fast pace, teams based, PvP game focused on painting the most blocks in the map with your teams color. You can, of course, sabotage the other team by splatting them all to death. There are plenty of different weapon packs to choose from, with more to be unlocked with coins! Whether you want to roll paint around the floor with the 'Painter' pack or shoot cute baby slimes that paint the floor in your color as they glide across the map with the 'Ambush' pack, I'm sure you'll enjoy them all.

This game also includes plenty of cosmetics such as hats, win effects and more which will all be able to get through the upcoming Goodie Bags (releasing soon). Be sure to check them out when they all release!

2 Splatter Maps released
The first two maps we're starting off with for this game consists of "Underpass" and "Copter" which are specially designed to be covered in the paint of your team. There'll be more maps to come in the future, but we think they're pretty cute!

The maps are flipped identically so there's no advantage to either team that spawns on the opposite sides, and filled with different routes to get around and paint the most blocks easier!

New in-game Lobby!
Featuring plenty of skyscrapers and buildings that makes it our largest and tallest in-game waiting lobby to date! Oh, and they're of course splatted in paint!

It's own cozy home in the Hub

Which naturally is home to a giant billboard tower (from the Splatoon 2 Lobby!) that is now the tallest building in the Hub. Climb it to the very top, we dare you! There'll be an announcement thread soon that'll contain all the new changes in this hub, but for now have a shiny picture and check it out yourself on play.mcpz.net.

Conclusion

This game has been in-progress for a while, so be sure to check out the hard work we put into it! There'll be an announcement post soon to discuss the recent updates in our Hub that we've also released with this update!

Until next time,
~ The PartyZone Team

Enjoy!

r click to shoot and use your secondary weapon. Sprint or shift ontop of your coloured ink. Press space twice and hold space while directly next to a wall thats your colour to climb the wall. And team with the most blocks inked wins.

Love it! It's great to play with friends so get gaming! :pz::D
