I would like to add some special commands for /rp.

But 5hri, what are your ideas?

For the first special addition, I'd like for there to be
/rp setplayername (Player's Name) (Setname for that player)

This is because I usually have players who:
- Change their names to anything inappropriate. (i.e: If apple was a bad word they would set their name as apple.)
- Some players use others' usernames so it makes it look like that player is saying that thing.
For example:

5hriyana joins RP.
Jebb joins RP.

Jebb does /rp setname 5hriyana
5hriyana (Jebb): I like pigs.
5hriyana (real me): What?!
He stole my identity.
So then I would continue off and do this:
/rpsetplayername Jebb Jebb
And then I can do the command below, to ensure he keeps his name like that.

Along with my first idea, you can have a choice of letting everyone having their names stay permanently. For this, the RP command would be:
/rpsetpermname (enable/disable) (Only RP admins and the owner of the roleplay can access this command.)

This can solve people switching names every 60 seconds. If the owner would like, he/she can disable and enable this feature. He/she can also enable/disable it for specific players, this roleplay command can be:

/rpsetpermname (player) (enable/disable)

~

This can be a VIP or higher ranked perk only. You can be able to change the coloring of your RP, so instead of always having it purple, you can make it baby blue.

Just to make it a little fun and colorful.

/rprank (player) (rank) can show a specific player in the RP their RP Rank. For example, if @Shreya was a helper in a roleplay, she would have her rank next to her roleplay name.

This command is only accessible if you're an RP admin or an RP owner.

Thanks for reading my suggestion! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask me. If you have another command/idea or suggestion please let me know in the comments section and I'll see if I can add it below!

I agree mostly on the identity stealing part. People will do it and then make others unhappy, making it seem as if someone else did it.
+1 (I had to say that, old habit, even though I did use the voting)

I agree with this except from the last one. I think the last one is unnecessary but the rest we can benefit from. (Or at least the people that RP will benefit from) :) Nice suggestion. +1

I agree, though some people just want to have it at the beginning of the RP just to know like which of the staff is online or like if they just want to be super-fancy with staff roleplay names ;p

All ideas are good but the last one isn't really a necessary command. However the idea about setting a players name is important as people usually steal other players identity. Really good suggestion and these commands have potential.

Very neat layout!
Also i agree, with the perks of these new commands. I hate when someone changed my name and says something bad. And it ends up badly.
Also i like the idea of being able to change the colour. Sounds fun.

I don't think this would be right, my reason being that owners of RP's could just set people's names to something inappropriate themselves, this is an easy way to harass players in a role play, so I don't think forcing a nickname onto someone would be right, a better idea would be to display the users real user name in brackets next to the identity, rather than implementing a new command which can be abused to harass people.

I do agree but I don't think all RP owners are that nasty, they usually have rules like "No Smex" or "No inappropriate content", though I can see where that goes.

Although not all are nasty, some can be, and that small amount is all it takes to harass someone and hurt someone's feelings which is why I do support this idea but to have a suffix or prefix of the users real name.

Hmmm, I can put your idea for the username in brackets thing, maybe you can disable or enable that feature?

I think if it's a role play with friends and you don't want to see the prefixes etc then you can disable them, or make it so only the owner can.

As he said, I don't think this is needed. -0

All of the commands or just that one he said :I

Well, the force set name could cause a lot more problems.....for instance..say chair was a bad word, or foul language and the owner..or admin did not like a member of the rp....for example:

Duckehhhhxx was doing something extremely annoying, like going "down" out of the roleplay box without instructions.
iLandLubber [ an admin ] does /rp setplayername Duckehhhhxx Chair
Chair (Duckehhhhx) : What? I didn't set my name as this? What's happening ?
Chair (Duckehhhhx) : This is stupid!
ixImABird [ the owner of the plot ] : In the rules, it clearly states no foul language.
ixImABird does /plot deny Duckehhhhx
Then iLandLubber provides screenshots, and gets Duckehhhhx punished.

So for that command -0

Then for /rp setplayerpermname could cause the same problems, but for this one it could be used as a impersonation tool.

What if admins set the owners name to a foul language word, and then got them banned or visa versa.

For the same reasons, that in game Sr.Mods don't have their tag. /rprank could make players feel less in general, and would exclude some players and hurt some feelings. -0 for this idea.

Now, since I spoke in my own words a bit, I'll quote yours.

The player perm and just setting their name for them could do the same thing. -0

What if, the owner can abuse this too, so... -0

I think I quoted enough, so all in all...I'm sorry but a definite -0 for all ideas stated in this thread.
