Rejected Neutral Rating Trophy

Alright, we all love (not) our neutral rating, the disagree one. I've said this lots, but half the time it gets used as a "dislike" button rather than actually disagreeing. I'm not calling people out, because we've all done this once or twice. I want you all to know I'm not bitter at anyone about anything.
Now onto the suggestion, I suggest we get trophy points for neutral ratings. Again, because some neutral ratings you receive are from someone not using them properly. The trophy points wouldn't be much, but they'd still be there.

1 Neutral - 3 Points
5 Neutrals - 15 Points
10 Neutrals - 50 Points
50 Neutrals - 100 Points
100 Neutrals - 250 Points
1,000 Neutrals - 500 Points

While it's all nice and good, I feel like the best form of neutral would be to just ignore the rating system altogether.

haha thanks, but the thing is that it isn't a dislike button, it's a disagree button.

You could get a neutral rating for an opinion that disagrees with a thread or for making a not-so-great suggestion and it isn't really fair to lose points for these reasons.

Oh.

Well, it's still a -1 because people shouldn't aim to get neutral ratings and does this mean if someone makes a series of meh suggestions they get trophy points?

Well to be fair it gets abused half the time...

Which is why you can report the people if they're spamming you with them. Like and love ratings get abused as well, the neutral ratings are just more of a "slap in the face" if you receive one.

I disagree though, if you say something someone doesn't agree with- why would you get points from that? The "I disagree" rating was implemented so we could show our distaste for a suggestion or a comment that we didn't agree with. There's no need for us to get trophy points for that, that isn't the intent of the rating. I do see where you're coming from, however the system we currently have in place is perfectly fine. If someone is harassing you by rating all of your posts negatively, contact a staff member to deal with it.
