Nowhere Worth Knowing
So basically I'm just looking for new names to be obsessed with for OCs and stuff. I really like vintage names with cute nicknames. Can be a guy or girl idk I'm just stumped. Thanks!

(Plus I felt like adding a poll)

Depends. Do you have an appearance already set for the OC? If so please describe their personality and appearance and possibly a backstory. But for now, here's some names I love:

-Dashall (m)
-Max/Maxwell (m)
-Takashi (m)
-Ilina (ilina. The capital i looks like an L) (f)
-Hinami / Hina (f)
-Aoi (I think its just female)
-Yuta (m)
-Amber (f)
-Nova (m, but can be used as a nickname)
-Blu (m)
-Shiro (m/f. It's also represented in a longer version, which is Shirogane, but Shiro is the easier way of saying it. Shiro also makes it sound like a nickname instead of having to constantly say Shirogane).

Names from some of my OCs:
Nova (m)
Haru (m)
Aries (f)
Ita (m)

I generally name OCs based off of appearance or backstory. I usually think of family professions or family name preferences - such as how I have an OC where they have a tradition to only have names beginning with an i (girls) or a j (boys). Based on family professions, I have an OC whose parents were astronomers. They named named their son after a galaxy.
Etc.

It gets easy to come up with OC names if you consider small things like backstories, personalities, parental name preferences, etc.
