This is because spamming TPA requests is a form of spamming, and so comes under the spamming punishment.

Well people hardly spam it anyway lol, the worst that most people do is send ONE more request if their first one is denied. I don't think that a player's access to TELEPORT should be revoked just because they spammed or swore in the chat? Yes I get where you're coming from, but it's honestly so stupid.

I wasn’t disagreeing with your suggestions, I do agree there should be some sort of cooldown for tpa requests and such, I was just answering what the player asked which was why do we remove tpa access while muted, and at the moment we don’t have a cooldown which is why spamming tpa requests comes under spamming.But I do agree with this so +1 from me.

The reason this is a rule is because at the moment we don’t have a cooldown, so we need some way to stop people from spamming it so we mute them, people spam tpa requests a lot more frequently than you may think, hence why it comes under spamming. I never said you did, I was agreeing with other people on adding a cooldown to prevent tpa spam and answering your question as to why you can't tpa while muted.

I believe this is a good idea because you can still play with friends, just without chat. Additionally, The cooldown bandages the spam problem.
