[Murder] Share Good Strategies

What I do is really good and effective for me. This is if you are the murderer. Lets say there are two of you on one side of the wall and you are on the other side with someone else. Everyone's gamertag is visible. You yell "DON'T KILL ME ____!" and crouch. Everyone will think the guy next to you is the killer. You have to get away fast if you want it to work.

As for bystanders, I reason with gunners. There is a secret room in Mansion. A gunner wanted to get in, and I said he could if he protected me.

So, got good, unique strategies?

So mine are reasoning, and faking death.
 
I have a few.

For murd: If a bystander is invisible, throw your knife at the end of the footprints.
Try and say someone else is the murderer >;>

Bys: A way to tell if someone is murderer or not, is how they act. For example, If someone says "Can you help me find emeralds?" or "Come and find me, i need your help!" Don't trust the people who say this, and don't say them yourself, you are giving away the fact that you are murd/could be.
 
Murderer: Work fast, and don't be caught. Work in areas where you know there aren't many bystanders. There's less chance of you being called out that way, and you should NEVER disguise, it'll give your game away. Also remember to type a bit, and use the book so you aren't seen as murderer.

Gunman: Always look out for people who edge around you, or seem to back off. They're most likely the murderer, and just waiting for you to turn your back so they can backstab you and pretend that nothing happened. If someone with no gun walks over one and they can't pick it up, shoot them immediately.

Bystander: Don't stay in the same place for too long, and always look around your surroundings. Watch out for people who sprint.

If I'm Killer, I kill off the gunner, then i don't wander too far from it. Not puppy guard, but i don't wander to the other map side. I'm usually, minimum, the next room over. Usually a few more rooms over tho. If someone goes to get it, i intercept them and (hopefully) kill them. When it gets to not long until its over, i kill off everyone else. works A BIT.
 
See who's near you. If they're sprinting, have a gun, or just simply walking. Watch them and back off. If they do something supicious, like sprint, shoot them if you have a gun
 
I like to go about the way of just running and staying with someone. But, for being the murderer, I recommend running around and dodging side to side. :> I love doing that c:
 
If your the murderer and it's near the start of the game don't kill people unless you can with 1 throw or are in hitting range, because if not they will shoot you immediately.trust me I've made that mistake way too many times. Later on in the game when most people have guns (if it lasts that long) don't go near them, they will assume your the only other one and shoot you, just wait for one of them to stray off and kill them, I'd change if you want though you have to know how to play that one right it's very risky.
as for having the gun, don't show it unless there's another gunner or someone really thinks your it to prove them wrong. This helps avoid the murderer going for you first, which gives you time to shoot.
and with bystander, I say get a gun as fast as possible, but if the murderer isn't rushing try to stay in areas where everyone else is. If it comes to it don't hide because nobody likes it and it's not worth it just to get a few etra points honestly. Risk going out and finding emeralds, or a gun off a corpse.
 
Murderer: Kill people in small amounts
If one person knows it's you, kill them before they tell everyone
If a group of people know either rush or switch identities

Gunman: Keep gun hidden at all costs! The murderer usually tries to target people with guns (I know I do)
If someone is following you, Shoot by their feet. If they turn around and walk away, they're innocent. If they go to the corner of the room, keep an eye on them. If they continue following you, shoot near them again. If they get too close or sprint shoot them.
Always check for the "sprint particles" on the floor but don't get that confused with when people fall and particles show

Bystander: Stay as far away as possible from people (But don't go on the mountain on temple!!!).
Upgrade your double emeralds chance as high as you can and search for emeralds (whilst not being near anyone) to quickly get a gun.
 
TIP 1: If you are Murderer, Watch in chat for "Murder » LoLgunMaster123 hit an innocent player." When you see that, try and find the place where they "misfired". They won't be able to pick up their gun for about 10-15 seconds. Kill them, and then change identities to them, and say something like "Oops". The bystanders won't see what's coming!

TIP 2: If you are Murderer, try and find out who the gunner (gun-man) is, and kill him/her first. If you manage to kill him/her in about 30 seconds or less, no one else will have a gun, and you can just go on a rampage.

TIP 3: If you are Bystander, look for people that are using the book. If someone spammed the book saying "I am next to BobTheBuilder77!" and all of a sudden, they stopped spamming, then the guy mentioned is probably the Murderer, or the guy spamming the book is the Murderer. Sometimes it goes either ways.

TIP 4: If you are Bystander, press Tab during the game, and if the murderer changes identities, the order of the names in tab will switch, narrowing the murderer to be one of only two people.

TIP 5: For all players, the button (on your keyboard) F5 is a game-changer. (You may need to press Function (Fn or Fctn) and F5 at the same time to work) If used strategically, F5 can show you incoming players, coming from multiple different sides. You can also use F5 to see around corners, to find a possible murderer, or target.

Wow the other ones I get but I never thought of the first strategy before that's smart :D
