Do you miss the old dead bodies that will lie on the floor dead? If you do, I hope you want it back! Now we just have bones, armor, and the hats w/ gun/sword, that will just float their, most likely causing more lag!

I do want those back, But I read somewhere that because of the " 1.8 " Update something broke, and they couldn't add it back in...?

Frankly, i miss it. It made it seem more like the Gmod murder. Which I suck at, and I suck at it in MC to! 
This feature changed due to Minecraft itself changing from 1.7 to 1.8.
A lot of neat features would be possible in murder with 1.8 but it can not be done with the network still being 1.7 compatible.
Once we switch to 1.8 you will notice some really neat differences like 1.8 blocks and no more ladders everywhere!

Yeah, I hope so. Maybe they can set something up were it spawns an armor stand with what ever items that the dead person had. Because you can rotate the armor stand to make it look like its on the floor.
That'd be cool. I remember before I joined the server, I saw Jerome and whatnot playing and they had the bodies and that was so awesome but when I joined they didn't have that and I was like D:
Microsoft hasn't done anything to "screw up" Mojang... yet.
The dead bodies are being worked on a believe, since it was on a to-do list I saw somewhere, but it will be a while, so I'd say just leave it and we'll see.
I want them back, It was funny finding a dead person on the floor much easier to see how many dead bodies there is if the murderer is on a killing spree
To be honest I like the bones better because you can actually see if somebody dies because a marker appears with the bodies, making it harder for the murderer. Bones don't do that.
Yeah. To make the bodies appear the hologram made a little marker to create the hologram body - you can see it pretty much anywhere (relatively close- about 10 chunks apart?)
But its kinda hard to do a switch with the bone,like how close do we need to get and spam the switch button
its easier to switch with the dead body
I normally right click over the leather chest-plate, that seems to work.
dead bodies give the game a murder feel. Bones are just awkward seeing, and the gun dose hide in them pretty well.O oh... RIP ladder,blackout and mansion.
also i like dead body more. it look better (idk why)
but with bones, a gun can be hidden easily in those bones.
how this is server gonna be fully 1.8? mojang have killed bukkit before it was released!

It is in fact on the todo list. Minecraft 1.8 in general seems to be breaking how dead bodies work. We have been trying to find a solution

Have you ever concerdered having rotated armor stands, and some sort of redstone clock, constantly checking to see if a player has a death score (or any score) of one, and if successful it sets off a comparator witch spawns said rotated armor stands were the player died at?
Everyone has a death score of 0
When a player dies, they get a death score of 1
Redstone clock keeps checking for the death score of 1
If successful it sets off a comparator, witch powers a command block
In the command block is a summon command
witch puts the armor stand were the player died at
More strings (commands) can be set off. Hopefully copying the player's armor, and maybe weapon on to the armor stand. If guns get copied on to the armor stands, maybe you can allow players to actually take the gun out of its hand. If not let it float as it would back in 1.7
Don't forget, the bones may still appear, so probably want to have something delete those specific items
