When you make a murder map, how would mcpz put it into the server's map selection? I mean how would you import the map to the server's world?

We'll I believe if it's creative they will copy it using commands and then edit it from there. But if it's on a single player world then you will have to rebuild it where they want . Then from there they use their magic to get it on murder.

ok thanks! :D (i was always wondering how they get it into their world, but i have heard of a way to move things because my friend's dad made a server and he put people's builds all around the world.) i wasn't sure how they did it here though.

From what I know they copy the build into the map area. Then they just set up the emerald spawns and the spawn in boxes and viola.

The entire world save is copied into the server when a map is loaded. Each save is as small in size as possible (so a void world, literally only containing the map), and then we save coordinates in the map for people to be teleported to.

As Absol said, they copy the world using world edit on the murder server and you'll need to give them the world file and they'll just add it.
EDIT:
Gigo said it a few seconds before me, I will beat you gigo later!

Oh ok, another question. Do you even check the world to make sure it dosent contain sertian commands in command blocks? (Aka Possible virus, unwanted blocks, lag soures, any other possible potential harm) not that I would make a map that contains these. (I'm just wondering if staff checks them first befor putting it into the server's file data)

The only issue a map could result in would be lag either through redstone or tons of item frames which we'd be able to see when reviewing the map. You can't put a virus in a minecraft build.

OK, I'm just checking to make sure your server is always bug-free, i would hate for something bad to happened.
