Hell
So earlier today, Henry & I were playing murder, and I was the murderer, I had killed someone, made sure no-one was around, and someone says "It's Skytheboiica"
I was confused, I had made sure no-one was around. I asked if they had any proof. This is they're "proof"

I have the players name if a Staff Member would wish to know what it is.

This is just as frustrating as RDMers, especially because there is no punishment (That I Know Of) for Ghosting.

I would like to know what we could do for the cheater

That's all!

Eh that's not technically cheating.. especially if ur sitting right beside the person ur playing with.. *Death* AHHH ITS GIGOSAURUS *Brother Grabs Gun and kills Gigo* GeeGee Games over

Frankly, Skype Teams cant be punished considering there are no rules on Skype forbidding this, and there is no punishment.
1. People don't know if Others are Skype Teaming unless they say so,
2. There is no 'good' punishment, They can simply come back on and Skype Team again without anyone Knowing!
There is nothing the server can do, most likely.
Either practice and become MLG So you can win as Murderer against Skype Teamers or Just play and sigh.

But the thing is, they say it in chat, so the whole lobby knows! Which makes it unfair because everyone knows who it is and then when 99% of the lobby get a gun, they can shoot the mur. But yet again, you can switch identity.

In real life if you saw a murderer would you keep it to yourself? I know this is a game but technically this isn't ghosting. Ghosting is saying who the murderer is AFTER you die, this person saw someone murder and they didn't want anyone else to get killed so they said who the murderer is.

There is a way to make this easier, with the switch identities after you get three emeralds. So technically, this isn't ghosting, it makes sense to say who the murderer is in chat if you're still alive.

*Drops mic*

*Cough* oh if that's not what you meant then uh...

There is NO way staff can keep people from skyping. And if someone says their friend told them who the murderer is, you would still need proof of him/her saying who the murderer is.

Would use skype to tell whos the murderer After you die in real life? Good points anyway:)

Ghosting is not punishable, only frowned upon, but if it were punishable, it would be SUPER hard to report. You need to have actual proof that they are teaming, not just someone simply stating that they are Skyping.

Testimonies are never proof, for anything. The only way someone can be punished for ghosting is if it is on TS and a staff member is in the channel.

As DJKitteh said, we can't know when people are Skyping around at telling each other who is the Murderer.
Only VIPs and above can join games in "progress", but now if you aren't a VIP; you are a regular player; and you join your friend's server via Friend list, then you can join his game even if it is in progress.
So, what people do is:
They die, they leave the game, go to the lobby, then they /msg the friend telling who is the murderer, and then they join back via friend list, because you can join games in progress even if you're a regular player with friend list.

That's a bit of unfair, it could say: "You can't join this friend's game, his Murder game is currently in progress", or something like that, instead of allowing the regular player joining the friend's game in progress.

And the thing with Skype, it is literally impossible to avoid. And it is not completely against the rules tho.

That is why there is a switch identity option. When someone says its you, you can switch identities when you get 3 emeralds. It is also very impossible to stop people from Skyping and ghosting, so that is why ghosting is frowned upon. The only time it is punishable is when they ghost on something relevant to Partyzone, such as Teamspeak.
