General More Player Models

So I Have An Idea:
Why not add the more player models plugin?

It allows players to see each other’s player models.

Like for example:
Let’s say you’re really tiny and you think it’s really cute, but you also want other players to see, with the plugin, you can do that.

The only downfall? I’m not sure if it’s up to date or not. The mod is, not sure about the plugin.

But what harm would it do on the mini games? If anything it’d make them more interesting.

In minigames it could give people advantages. For example, say you were in a match of down-grade and someone was a miniature model, they would be a smaller target- therefore making them harder to kill and see.

Maybe instead we could create our own plugin and kinda mod. This way players do not need to download the mod. yeee am tired sorry if I make no sense.

That's a bit of extra time and resources required to do that. Plus either way players would need to install the mod

However the plugin is based around the players, not the server. If players do not have the mod installed, it would not effect their perception at all.

It would be possible in a disguise way, but not anyway else without some serious compromises in functionality

There is just benefits of fun. It helps by bringing enjoyment to players.

Time got it on the dot here, the benefit especially comes in for RPs.
The plugin is a "translator," it allows players with the more player models mod see each other's custom player models. There is little to no commands in it, and there is no downside for anyone who doesn't have the mod inside. For all of these reasons it should remain out of PvP sections of the server.

This being said, upon inspection of the plugin page, it is currently in 1.10.2 (Plugin also has 1.8 and 1.9 variants). I am not sure it will be compatible with the server.

Edit: Also upon further inspection, there is a permission node to allow players to show up as other entities. I would not recommend adding this to any rank, as this could end up catastrophic (especially if all users in said rank decide they want to be an ender dragon)

I forgot to mention that only people WITH the mod installed can see other people’s model changes, also the hits box stays the same

This is an amazing idea but it might be laggy for some users i love it
