Hello, I was wondering if somehow staff can let more players on creative. I've been waiting for 2 hours to get into creative and not once was I able to. So can we let more than 200 people into it? Thank you.
 
There is a specific limit of players allowed per server, so this obviously couldn't work out.

If you're going to say to add a "Creative two" or "another creative server" that won't work out either because all of your work in the first creative will be lost in the second and the server itself costs lots of money.

This has been suggested before for default's player count to be raised yet in the end a admin replyed and said basically this : the admins have been thinking about this for sometime ( and the two solutions said above^) bleh stuff and that the 1st creative stuff would be lost. Uping the player count would also cause more lag with high player count.

In the end I suggest finding the correct time when players get in and out of creative and plan accordingly. When they get out go in etc. Yet for the idea this will definitely be needed in the the near future yet for right now it doesn't need to happen. In the future when the admins find a plan to act upon it will be kinda implemented.
 
I completely understand what you're saying, I remember when it was so hard to get on creative and once it took about an hour. But the limits are only there because of lag but I agree that this issue can be very annoying. I also think that a player should be kicked for being afk for 10 minutes instead of 15

People do get kicked if they are Afk
I don't mean a second creative I mean 230 players instead of 200
Then that would increase lag and lag is bad enough as it is now
 
The current player limit for creative is 250, not 200.

As for the suggestion I don't think we should allow more players, right now we have a very organised reservation system for specific ranks and it'd cause some hassle to change those around. However, maybe this should be considered if the overall network player count increases quite a bit. For now, -1.

As stated above this has been suggested before or add another creative server. But if we raise the amount of users in creative there will be an increase in Lag making it so user's might not be able to play it at all. The server can barely hold 250 sometimes
 
To put it simply, more players means more chance for ranks. More chance for ranks means more chance for elites. And if there is more elites, there is more world edit cues that will probably be put on the server. That and the server, in the worst case scenario of everyone filling up creative entirely and loading 10 chunks with all players far enough away from each other to not overlap loaded chunks would have the server be generating over ninety thousand chunks at once.

This is a bit of an extreme scenario, well really an incredibly extreme scenario accounting for everyone having amazing connection, and no one being friends enough to go near each other, but it still stands that the server is definetly laggy enough if creative still needs to reboot every couple of hours!
 
This could work if the server population increases. However there is a player limit in creative for a reason. If there were to be more people on creative, creative would become even more laggier, and it's quite laggy as it is right now. So for now I really don't think this is necessary.

This scenario doesn't work at all since PZ has worldedit sub-plugins to prevent too many worldedits at once.

The point is, the server is breaking enough as it is, and that fact does work.
 
This wouldn't even be possible until we magically resolve the lag issues on Creative which is a long project that'd take quite a lot of our time, of which we have little because we're still a small team.

In addition, we offer 50 reserved slots for premium players which is a key part of the VIP (or above) perk. Without this we'd lose some income which would possibly mean we'd have to downsize - the opposite effect we're looking for here.
