For some reason i type in the correct ip and it shows up, but it says “outdated server
You can’t join” and I have been trying a million times

Have you tried relaunching your Minecraft launcher? If so, it could be the version you're on since the server works best on 1.12.2.
If both of these steps have been done, and the server still doesn't load in, please create another thread, explaining the steps you've done so we can try and help you further. Hope it works, and I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience caused.
