No you don't really. It'd be a bit strange even so. To link an account to /link <email>
This email is the one your forum account has. This will give you your ranks etc.

Also, I'd like to point out that you can only have one account linked to a certain email, as I have been asked if you can have multiple accounts (alts) linked to one account.
