If you link your Minecraft account to your Forum account, it should show your rank as a banner when you post messages and on previous messages you've posted. As you can see on mine, there are the VIP and Helper banners. However, you will have to access Minecraft to do this first time.
To link your account, log into the network and use: /link <forum-email>
If you upgrade your rank, it may take some time to update on the website but it should appear sooner or later if you have it on the server.
This and actually going on the network via Minecraft are the only ways to find out if your rank has appeared.
