It's a nice idea but I'm not sure it really needs to be um... implemented...? Yeah it is nice but, it's also just kind of like... why? How would it even work? I mean some of us do live closer than others but we aren't exactly neighbors to eachother, and I don't think anyones gonna drive/get driven under the idea of "I get to meet a friend from Minecraft in real life". Just an opinion.

I'm kinda sick right now, so I'll edit this post later, and it's not a thing to be implemented, General was the only group even close.

understandable, have a great day.

I mean, I don't quite see the purpose of this when you could simply talk over a call. Plus, what about the staffs' parents? Not all of them are adults. Besides, it'd be too expensive just to meet up somewhere in person to talk about a server instead of doing it on a discord call. I don't quite see the purpose, but that might just be me.

I'm staying neutral. It's a nice idea but needs explaining.

What I sort of meant was once the server got huge, like, over 1k, like worldwide calls or something, I don't really know, it's almost midnight.

Yea I understand worldwide but honestly I don't think the server will get THAT big for it to be known and worldwide as of the moment if that's what you mean

I love this idea, but, I don’t think it could be implemented. Here’s my reasoning;

•People from PartyZone live all around the world- do you really expect people to pay lots of money to go talk to someone that they could talk to anyway via the internet? Not to mention the fact that people most likely won’t be allowed to fly across the world for this, or might not be able to afford it.

•People wouldn’t come- okay, so I know it seems like lots of people would want to come. But, in reality I don’t think many would. Most of the players on PartyZone just happily play games and build in creative- they aren’t interested in making any online friends, so why would they come? As I mentioned earlier players that would want to come might not be allowed/might not be able to afford transport.

•Where would we meet? Unless we meet in a field somewhere it’s going to cost a lot of money to hire out a venue- that nobody will attend. If there’s no profit, there’s no point. Not to mention the fact that if we did hire a venue, PartyZone would probably loose a lot of money.

Lastly, what would we do? Just talk? Play games? Please explain this.

PZ Staff have often attended Multiplay Insomnia gaming festivals in the UK in the past and met up through that. In other years when Minecon was a thing and not just a livestream, the admins and staff attended.

It's a nice idea but not everyone will be able to meet up in a certain place because of where they live and possibly the price to get there. Parents also may not allow their kids to meet up with people online as people might not be who we think they are. Also, i don't really see the point of this, yes it's nice, but why meet up if a server has reached 1000 players. Yes, it's a big achievement but a meet up is a bit too much - can you give an explanation about why a meet up at 1k players. We could simply just go on teamspeak or discord instead. And as sean said above, there's gaming events where players can meet up, which is more official.

I moreover mean things like this, a PartyZone group of people at a bigger con, I never really meant a seperate event.

Just call the people you want to meet up with on discord/skype or talk to them outside the server lol
