Hello and thank you for contributing to our suggestions forums.
Before I actually dive into the suggestion, this is more of an Event Idea, which should be posted
here.
While I understand to some degree what you're saying personally but there is quite a few details missing out and a lot of people may actually be completely and utterly confused as to what you're referring to.
✵ To those who don't know what kahoot is:
It's basically a trivia game used mainly in classes for learning through fun quizzes, however it can be used for the soul purpose of fun too. You can seach up a multitude of topics, such as Minecraft.
Players answer the questions on their own devices, while games are displayed on a shared screen to unite the lesson. It creates a ‘campfire moment’ encouraging players to look up and celebrate together. Besides creating your own kahoots, you can search among millions of existing games.
I personally would love to see Kahoot in streams or somehow implemented into an in-game event which is easier to execute, like you've suggested, however there isn't much detail as to what you're implying and how exactly it'd work in-game as the game isn't a straight forward quiz that you ask a question and people pick an answer to from the air.
I don't believe this should be a weekly event either, I don't think it's got that much excitement in it that'd make people want to participate in it so frequently. Sure if we figured out some way to execute this in-game and it has a high demand, it could potentially become a weekly event, however I just don't think it has that demand.
✵ Tips on how to improve this suggestion:
✏ In future, try to describe in more detail what exactly you're talking about. While some people are aware of this fun little game, some are not and may be utterly confused as to what you're talking about.
✏ How exactly would this be implemented into an event? It could be implemented as a basic quiz but that isn't really what Kahoot completely is, it's slightly harder to put into the game without it just being a normal everyday quiz which we do every now and again at our seasonal events. Would you simply ask questions and have 2-4 answers available for players to choose from?
✏ How would we prevent people answering and choosing one of those options before even allowing people time to think?
Overall, I don't think I can come to a conclusion as I don't know how this would work very well, so unless all the details necessary are given, I'll be remaining
neutral.
