Part 2...
A week later, I got a phone call from an unfamiliar voice. "Hello, this is MCPZ Offices. We have decided to hire you, your job starts at 7:00A.M. on Monday. See you there." A stern, male voice told me. Without waiting for my reply, he hung up.
*Time pass to Monday morning*
It was 6:30 in the morning and I had barely got any sleep last night. I didn't really know what to expect on my first day at work. I drove to the office extra early, just in case there was traffic.
I rushed inside and a tall woman with the name badge 'Star' was standing by the desk. "Hello, Miss.Gryfindor, right?" She asked me in a calm voice.
"Yes, it's my first day." I tried to look as relaxed as possible.
"Follow me, you'll be working in the VIP section on the fourth floor," she beamed at me.
I followed after her, in the elevator, until we turned off into a huge room filled with computers, printers and my new workmates. "Here we are, your workmates will tell you about the schedule, etc. Have fun!" Star smirked at me, turned on her heels and walked out of my sight.
I breathed in and noticed a group of people staring at me. I tried to brush it off as best as I could, when someone who was about a couple of inches shorter than me came rushing up to me. "Hi, my name is Sophie ( @Sophie_Le_Turtle ) and I'll show your our new schedule!" She said so quickly, I barely understood what she was saying to me. She sounded like she was from Northern Britain. She showed me over to a group of computers, separated by Dividers.
"Here is where you will work," she pointed to a desk in the corner of the room, "and I work right next to you!"
Jeez, she seemed so exited to meet me.
"This is my friend, Cat." ( @HappyCat02 )
A tall girl with long, red hair pulled back in a ponytail waved at me. She seemed really nice.
I noticed some other people staring at me, which unnerved me slightly and I guess Cat saw me. "Don't worry about those people, they don't really like newbies." she whispered gently. I nodded back at her.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't ask for your name?" Sophie piped up.
"I'm, uh... I'm called Vitty. You can call me--" I couldn't even finish.
"Nice." a strange Canadian voice startled me. I whipped round to see a girl, slightly taller than me with black and white glasses and a funny grin.
"Hey, I'm Swim. That's what people call me anyway." she giggled a bit, trying to make me relax.
I heard echoing footsteps from down the hall and everyone suddenly hushed and raced back to work. I wasn't really sure what to do, so I just copied Sophie next to me, and turned my computer on and started writing down notes.
