(Sorry I couldn't think of a more original name) I will try and explain this as best as I can. So this a game that I built in creative and made me think about adding it to the forums as a suggestion. There would be around 4 people on each team (8 people in total per game). So here is how the game works. There are 2 teams (gold and diamond) that will start in a 1 room house at opposite sides of a maze and what they must do is get to the other side of the maze to the other teams house and they must go down a tunnel that links the two houses and in the centre of the tunnel that connects the two houses, there is a room with four diamond booths on one side and four gold booths on the other. team gold would go in the gold booths and team diamond would go in the diamond booths. The first team to have all players fill up their booths win!
Players that are away from keyboard (AFK) can potentially ruin the game for the other players on their team, therefore anyone who is AFK during a match will have 15 seconds to start moving again or they will be removed from the game and sent to the lobby. They would also not me allowed to join another game for around 20 minutes as a punishment. The team that had the player removed would carry on as if that player was never there. Also, any player that attempts to take a 'shortcut' and go down the tunnel in their house will just get sent back up to prevent cheating.
The lobby would be fairly simplistic, not too complicated. Just like any other party zone game it would have a parkour to keep players entertained whilst they wait for more but as well as this, it would have an area where you can choose to be on team diamond on one side of the lobby and an area to choose team gold on the other.
There would be many maps to reduce the likelihood of players memorising their way through the maze, giving them an instant advantage.
As well as Murder, 'Maze Race' would have it's own currency. These coins could be earned from continuously winning games or because you could loose due to your team and not you specifically, you can also earn coins from playing lots of games. These coins could be spent on simple things such as cosmetics (such as hats) or even perks in the game (such as a 5 second head start)
I don't think there's anything else to say about it. if you think that I am missing something, please comment below :)

A few things.
Sending people back to the surface after they cheat is counter productive, just build a barrier wall inbetween the booths.
There is no way you can prevent people from memorizing every map they make.
The murder currency is the universal server currency for every game, with the only exception being the party coins for lobby cosmetics.

The last two points I can understand, but I don't get what you mean by building a barrier wall and how that would work?

Item # 166?
Barrier blocks?
Invisible blocks?

There are a lot of questions I have.

  1. What is the time limit?
  2. How big would the map size be?
  3. What happens if someone is AFK kicked? (They won't be able to fill their booth, and that may be a disadvantage to the team)
  4. Would the teams be able to see each other? (If yes, then they are able to follow where the other team goes to find the middle)
  5. How many maps would be available?
A few arguments I have are;

Coins are the universal currency on MCPZ. To create a completely new currency would be a waste of time and very confusing for newer players.
Being not able to memorize the map layout would be very challenging, as there would either have to be many maps created or a randomly generating map (which would be hard to code).
I think that this not a very exciting game and wouldn't be appealing to players on PZ.

1 and 2: Time and Map Size are directly related to eachother.

3: Been wondering about that myself.

4: The other team is on their way to your base...?
What would be the point in following them?

5: Irrelevant due to my explanation.

Also, this by itself isn't very exciting, I'm gonna be working on a new thread for this.
@Zantoro I'm jacking your idea but I'll give credit.

um..okay

I put it in party games because it isn't a major game like Murder.
Yes, but it's considered a new game-- a suggestion for "Party Games" would be an upgrade in Ditto or Freeze Tag.
