General Map ideas

A farm map for murder. You could have a huge fenced in area filled with a few barns, cattle ranches, wheat fields, windmills, chicken coops, and even a farmhouse! On the outside of the fence, you could put an enormous forest. This is a map you could build in a seed randomly generated by MC. Instead of having to build it in the void. :P

Spirit: Take on the red skeleton and his evil skeleton stand guards. Explore the 4 different environments of the world and avoid the gold and diamond crafting table. It's top secret work!

Spirit brings murder to a brand new level as you work through the easter egg and take on the boss. Teamwork is your best strategy, but you also need to avoid the murderer while shooting the Red Skeleton.


Outlaw: Fan favourite Italy, re-imagined as a western town in 1770's. Yee-haw!

Outlaw brings back memories from Italy and allows players to create new ones in brand new polished areas, at the same time, every place in Italy is in Outlaw, so players will automatically know where everything is.


Factory: It is time to meet Tom inside Tom's Factory. Navigate your way through an old factory owned by the kid's favourite: Tom.

Factory is by far the best murder map, as it features parts of old maps, Including Tom's Funland and Office, and new areas for Murder Fans to explore.

You should have the murderer hub with all those houses and stuff one of the murderer maps!!! well without the shooting range and parkcoure lol <-- srry fr meh spelling
 
What if you have already built something and be just want you to either remake something alike it or improve on the original design?
 
Here's a idea: Next time you're in creative do /warp murder to go to Dizzeh's epic build. OK so now imagine a big map like this! With large people towering over you, some people dead on the ground, and maybe secret passages, this map would be a hit. You guys could really go crazy with this one.
 
No1 I think it would be a good idea if there was a volcano map you would be inside a volcano around the lava and cliffs , just an idea.

Maybe a barn yard it would be fun to see the animals and how you make every thing. This map would be very open for a new feel! just an idea tho.

1. Maybe an idea is maybe like a 3 story apartment building with tons of Side rooms (If you played Murder a few years ago you will know this map) I think the map was called "Blackout" or something like that but if staff can make the map again but make it so it lags a lot less than what it did it would make an amazing map because i really liked the map besides the laggy part

2. Possibly a Movie Theater map would be an interesting Idea because we have, A shuttle on the moon, a Mansion, A haunted house, and a map based off of Counter Strike (In the forms of Italy). So a Movie Theater could possible make an amazing map

Emergency
After the Apocalypse everyone need to survive in a chaotic world. A little group have established their camp in an hospital. But when food and water start to running out, you are able to kill to get them... But the chief is armed and he watch...

The Map
Well Emergency is a semi-destroyed hospital colonized by survivors but only a half of the hospital can be explored (due to collapses)
The only parties which are accessible are: the operating theater, some patient bedrooms, the morgue, the reception and corridors.
They have stocked a lot of supplies into the hospital, you can found crates with supplies everywhere.
To avoid the possible of being attacked, survivors have add a special "door system" to trap attackers; one button open one door but it close 1 door too and they randomly put the buttons into the hospital...

What d'you think about it :D ?

Here you can share ideas for maps and arenas; we're interested in layouts and particular areas. If you can provide sketches we welcome them, but descriptions can do.

We dont really need ideas like "map on a plane" and "maze in pyramid"; we got plenty of those :) If you can support them with thoughts on what makes the map unique gameplay wise, or how the layout should be, or just 1 particular detail you'd really like to see in any map (like a mechanic such as slimeblocks).

If you provide a good idea and manage to explain it to us, you may just see that idea on our next mappack :)

I was thinking of how to make murderer more "PartyZone" - ish and came up with this Idea.

Maybe make a Map that is actually a party!! It can be either a club with a dancefloor and a bar, and maybe some smaller rooms around.
Or something else, the builders can use some creativity. (I'm not close to being creative at all xD)

This map would just be cool as the server is called "PartyZone" and actually bring more fun to murderer.

if you have a better suggestion please suggest!! :)

I was thinking a lava type theme, have you ever seen Star Wars and the lava planet with the fight with Anakin where he gets severely burned? Something like that, like a space station on a lava planet. I wish I could have gotten pictures but I have to study!! Good luck on making the new maps <3
 
I think a giant park table which has a picnic set up and it looks like we are small ants. Giant food and that type of stuff. It just seems like a fun idea. :)

The poor people of District 12 get hungry? I dunno, someone gets so hungry they kill people and eat them? Dunno.

Lumber Mill
Find out the secrets beyond the lumber mill and don't get killed by anyone or any dangerous machinery.

Count Olaf's House
Count Olaf, from 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', owns this house.

Wawanakwa Island
Where Total Drama Island was hosted.

Good ideas with backround yet I would like to ask people who post ideas to have more than just a simple detail xD sorry yet more detail is better. For example just so this post doesn't mean nothing
Asylum: there is a lose prisoner on the loss you must find them.
Details: two building with one of them being the jail or cells of the people that live there... inside each cell is a toilet and a bed. There are 10 cells in total with a security room in the middle. Then there is a nurses office in the other building that connects underground by a secret passage with another above ground that starts at one end of the cells which is a door that leads to white walls that lead to the nurses office. I will get building and some pictures amd edits/ more details shortly.
 
For murder you should build more rank perks like the E+ lever in clue.
 
Nightmare
In the future, Dream games are created, where you can play to your dream and invite people into your dream. But one day, you recieve an invitation from one of your friend to play in his dream but it wasn't a dream, it was a nightmare.

The map
The nightmare take place in the big machinery of a ship where the only light come from the emergencies lights. In my mind, I'll see a map like "Electricity" but more like what I said before. The map will have no stairs but it'll have steam jets which can help you to go up. Steam jets will change of place every minutes and there would be 4 steam jets spots. Maybe builders can add particle to show which steam jet is on/off but people can remove particle to avoid lag :v. It will make you go up like the pressure plate in the lobby.
