New Gametype Make build battle a separate game! I'm also unsure if I'm gonna regret posting this later xD

So I really like having build battle on creative but I find it sad that it is only on a certain times. I feel that if build battle became it's own separate game it would give players more variety in the main lobby. If build battle was added as it's own game I could see it drawing more people to the party zone. If you were to implement this then maybe you could also add a game mode where it was BUILDER (the rank) vs BUILDER but everyone else could spectate. I hope you take this on board because I always see players on the creative server making their own build battle plots which means that it could end up being very successful. thank you for reading.

Build battle is an event on PZ, I don't think a game version would work out. People come every week just to play it and others come for the prize at the end. Making it a game would make it less special, and less people would play it as there is no longer a big award or people watching you.
If there was a big award that'd make it a bit unfair, if you kept winning in game, you'd have a huge amount of coins and it'd take away the fun of trying hard just to win the big prize at the end. Which in the end is still unfair, as getting a coin amount like that would be ridiculous.
Aswell during build battle we have huge crowds, and I doubt many people would like to spectate a actual game they can definitely play for themselves.
Another thing is that, yes, people make their own buildbattles but they aren't really that common. Yes you'll see them once or twice a week, but overall they aren't that common.
Currently we already have Build swap in the arcade games, I believe, and build swap isn't often played either. I'm not sure if it was removed, but very little people did play it.

As @Nagmerries said, it's an event. These kinds of events are held so that they attract players and persuade people to come online every weekend hoping to participate! If we were to make this into a proper gamemode, I think people would quickly loose interest and not want to play it after all.

However, this could be a future game. Not now though, our playerbase is far too small for a game like this to take off. Once we start gaining a lot more players it may be a possibility!

But people do. Its no ‘hidden secret’.
It doesn’t change the fact about the game being an event. People are always gonna come for the prize at the end and others, for genuine fun.
