Major Lag

Recently I have been experiencing lag in 1.7.10 and unplayable lag in 1.8.Forums chat is also lagging when I am typing and it doesn't register words. Is this server or just me?

Check your ping and move to a different lobby. Also try and get an optifine version of 1.8.4 it'll really help

KK optifine might work but 1.8 is unplayable.

God if you are getting Optifine it might crash your pc. Last time I used it Optifine didn't stop lag it just made a lot of it and I only had 1 bar then again it could be because my computer cant handle Optifine. I did use it on single player and it was fine, no lag. I don't know if it was just the server that day or Optifine.

You mean lag like, players stop and you still can move, or that your screen frozes?

Players stop, delay in chat, when I ran I would tp back like 5 blocks.. ;-; never going to use it on a server ever again
