Hello! I've made this suggestion because I'm seeing griefings become more and more common. I think we can start to rid of griefing by installing a restriction system! Let me explain.

Overview
Basically, this whole suggestion is plot administration and restriction, instead of it being a playground. However, it's not going to be like server restrictions, it's going to be the plot owner's preferred restrictions.

Plot Restrictions
Owners of their plot can restrict entities on their plot being placed by other people, such as liquid, and barriers! Also, you can restrict blocks if you want the map to say the same. With this in play, griefers trying to place liquid and soak it with lava or water, won't do nothing! Also, the owner does not have to obide by the restrictions, because they're the owner. The owner has to manage the plot.

Heads Up!
Yes, I acknowledge the fact this is like Highpickle. (Name jumbled to avoid advertisement.) Thanks!

Administration
Plot Administration is key to stopping griefers when the owner isn't around. Owners can promote people to moderator, or administrator on their plot. Moderator can enter spectate mode on the plot, and if they wander out of the plot, meaning under the world or exiting the slabs, they will return to creative. They will also have the ability to kick, not ban/deny people from the plot. Onto Administrator, they have the same abilities as the moderator, but have the ability to deny people. This is not abusable, as they can't ban the owner. The owner receives a log of who banned who and when and if the owner was online. This makes the banning thing less abusable.

Commands
/plot promote [Player ] [Admin/Moderator] - Promotes the person to the designated rank.
/plot restrict [Liquid, Building, Breaking, Barriers] - Restricts a(n) action/item(s) on your plot.
/plot alert [Postpones any building/breaking allowing people to stop the grief and alert moderators.
/plot demote [Player] - Demotes the person. (Can't be used against owner.)
/plot banlog - Checks the ban log for your plot.

Thanks for listening to my suggestion! Keep partying! :pz:

EDIT: Wow! A like from the owner! Thanks Noble! :D

Isn't /plot ban just /plot deny though? And /plot kick would be pretty pointless.

Just so you know, you are allowed to say server names.

I see. Editing.

This is a pretty good idea, one thing I'd change though is putting building and breaking together. If somebody is building and they mess up, how should they be able to fix it? Still a +1 from me!

I like the idea of having more options for people to further manage their plots with built-in roles and whatnot. Don't know the feasibility of it right now, but I definitely think it would be a good addition, especially for the likes of restricting WorldEdit to certain plot-based ranks etc.

I think this is a really good idea, considering when staff aren't on there's so much that people can get away with sadly. There's also many things that blocks can be used for, and with griefs it can get out of hand. If we used the /restrict like you stated, it would keep that in check while keeping in reason as well. +1!
