Wherever needs be.
So. New story. Basically it's about when Earth get hit by a strange missile from space, which turned Earth into a wasteland. However, 8 kids were transported to 'Lost Desolation', a barren wasteland. They must try to get out. But can they?
The family of 5 sat in front of the TV, a quiz show playing. The adults were very excited, as well as the 6 year old girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. The 12 year old boy rolled his mint green eyes, pushing his dark brown hair from his face. The 17 year old girl looked similar to her younger sister, but a lot taller with longer, red nails and wavy hair.

"I'm going out, Markus is waiting for me," the teenage girl said, getting off the aqua blue sofa and walking to the door.

"No you are not, young lady! Markus is a bad influence, and more importantly, it's dark out!" the father yelled.

"John, you really need to sort out your priorities, but he's right Lucy..." the mother told her. Lucy rolled her eyes and balled her fists up as she saw the brown-haired boy making a kissing face.

"Oh my god George I'm gonna kill you!" Lucy shouted, before hastily walking to the door and wrenching the door open, walking outside into the night. Suddenly an orange flash lit the sky up, bathing the land in a deep, marigold and bittersweet amber. A crash echoed across the world, rapid clouds of blue and grey speeding across the planet, turning all visions to black.

Personality: Shane is a nerd. He likes books, comics, web series, TV shows, films, computer games, and nobody really likes him. He's extremely smart, and knows lots about pop culture, but he hates sports and is not athletic at all.
Backstory: Shane had a really nice family, before the missile. His sisters are both popular kids in their year and school, one 17, one 6 (Lucy & Ava). His 12 year old brother (George) is a sporty guy, and his parents (John & Marianne) are very smart.
Looks: He has neat, black hair, fair skin, blue eyes, is about 5'7 and is very skinny.
Skills: Anything intellectual or to do with pop culture.
Talents: He is great at strategizing, and is very accurate at aiming.

Personality: Jericho is a very sweet, and polite young man, who respects everyone no matter what. Though he likes to keep a cool composer, he gets stressed easily, and cannot work under tons of pressure. He mostly acts much older than he really is, and has very high vocabulary. He can be very flirty and romantic, but his heart belongs to a woman already, so he is loyal to her. He's very strong, and doesn't let people get under his skin.
Backstory: Born on December 5th, he was destined for success. He was a very intelligent baby, and was one of the smartest kids in his school for a very long time. He gained a few friends along the way as well. One of his friends was named Leviathan, and he fell deeply in love with her as a kid, and it continued as he got older. He joined sports and participated in multiple clubs, but he decided to quit them all once he became too stressed and isolated himself. But now his mental state is getting much better.
Looks: He stands at 5'9, and has a swimmer's body. He has tan skin, with a few scars on his hands. His hair is jet black, and usually slicked back. His hair is long enough to be put in a very tiny ponytail. He has dark chocolate brown eyes, which are more rounder and bigger. He has a smile which could light up a whole room. He wears a grey jacket, which looks old and overworn. The jacket exposes a black shirt underneath it, and he wears a necklace with a heart on it. He wears navy blue jeans, and completes the look with grey and white Nikes.
Skills: He's very strong, and agile. He's great with counting and anything with math.
Talents: Highly skilled in math, strong and quick, and very great with persuading people.
Extra: He's in love with a woman named 'Levi', and there's a photo of her in his heart locket. If you want to know more about her, go ahead and ask.

Personality: Michael is very quiet. Though he can be brutally honest. When he’s around people he doesn’t know he’s very stubborn and barely pays attention to anyone. Though when he’s around people he trusts, he’s kinda talkative and shows a lot more emotions.
Backstory: When Michael was young he had a slightly normal childhood. (He lived in Norway for around 17 years of his life. He recently moved to America when he was 18.) It was just him, his 4 siblings, and his mother. He was usually causing trouble a lot, always going to juvenile (usually for illegal graffiti). When he turned 15 he moved out of his mothers house to live with his best friend. He lived a pretty normal life from there.
Looks: He stands at 6’6’’, he has deep brown eyes and light brown hair that is in a fade. He’s pretty muscular might I add. He had bags around his eyes and spray paint that cover both his white t-shirt, arms, and hands. He has black basketball shorts (they’re covered in spray paint as well) and dirty white running shoes.
Skills: Self-motivation and an ability to work under pressure. He’s able to run pretty quick and is pretty strong.
Talents: Art (graffiti is a big one).
Extra: He can speak English, but he doesn’t understand a lot of big words, he also has a habit to sometimes speak Norwegian.

Backstory: She was born on April 1st, 2000. She was born into a family of people who did not know how to raise children. When she was of age to understand stuff, around 13, she decided to take care of the house and her family. She cleaned, cooked, and did everything the parents were supposed to do. in her late middle-school / early high school life, she made a few friends that she could trust (idk you choose them) and she messaged them as soon as she gained consiousness from the blow.
Looks: She is 5'0, and has pale peach skin, and weighs 110 pounds. Her hair is jet black and in a wavy bob. she has straight bangs just on her eyebrows. Her clothes are a white skin-fit crop top with sleeves, and has stars that only show up in the dark on it. She wears high wasted black jean shorts, and white garters to connect them to black knee socks. she wears white 2 1/2 inch platform sneakers, which also have stars on them.
Skills: very flexible, and always has a plan/backup plan. makes up lies as she goes, if needed. she always has an explanation for something
Talents: she is a writer, a mechanic, and can sew

Love her! But 1 thing: How is she 18? because the story is set in 2018, which would make her 16 if she was born in 2002

Sexuality: Pansexual {Marsel is gay whilst Marseline is straight, so they'd both be looking for a guy mainly but they don't discriminate. If they find someone they both love then the gender doesn't matter to them. If you want, they can have a love interest. c:}
Gender: Bigender, though originally female giving them a feminine look. {Bigender meaning that they have two different identities that are different genders. The male identity goes by Marsel and is mute as he doesn't like to talk but he does talk to Marseline when they're both activated at once, whilst the female identity is Marseline and has a phobia of eye contact / locking eyes. They switch between the identities at random, sometimes daily and sometimes yearly.}
Personality:
She's quite cowardly, due to this she's also very cautious and observant. She's socially anxious, it's hard for her to socialize with other people because she's scared of making friends for the thought of losing them. She LOVES anything art related, drawing calms her down no matter the situation which is why she brings a sketchbook with her everywhere. She daydreams quite often, her imagination runs wild 24/7. She almost has too much creativity for one person, which can be useful for puzzles, mazes, or escaping in a bad situation because she thinks of the things other people would think of last. She's very sweet and forgiving, she'll share with somebody without a second thought. She's kind to the point of being a pushover.
He's distant, he doesn't get too close to anybody and it's a bit rare for him to trust someone. A lot is unknown about this half of them. He's very fast and agile, he's able to outrun the majority of people. He often acts cold and emotionless, it's rare to see him smiling unless around his love interest if he ever finds one. However, he does care about others and in a situation where he has the opportunity to save somebody, he'll sacrifice himself to save them. He's the type of person where if you asked him for a small bite of his food he'd say no with a mean glare, then seconds afterwards he'll split it in half and hand the bigger half to you. This personality has a lot more confidence, if someone were to start a fight with him he wouldn't hesitate to fight back, though he wouldn't willingly want to hurt the person, he'd probably just scare them and if it didn't work he'd hit them once or twice as a warning.
Backstory: They were originally known as Marseline. Growing up, they randomly had personality switches where they referred to themselves as either " Marsel " or " Marseline ". By the time they turned 10, their parents were worried about them and send them to a doctor, who said they were fine. They lived with 6 other siblings in a small house, where everybody shared rooms. Their parents were always low on money, and while their mother loved adventure their dad hated letting them out of the house. Their parents always fought with each other, and when they were 14 their parents divorced. Their dad took their other siblings away from them, and they stayed with their mom. In the same year their parents divorced, the personality switches increased quite a lot, to the point where they asked people online about it. They answered that they could be bigender, which Mars looked into. Mars realized that Bigender described their issue perfectly, but when they explained it to their mom, she wasn't supportive. She thought it was freakish to have two different personalities, let alone two different genders for them. Mars and their mom stopped talking to each other, as Mars rarely left their room. When Mars became 15 they attended a event at their school called ' More About Me'. They revealed that they were Bigender and began to get bullied. Ever since then, they always bumped into criticism and hateful people, because of this they've always been scared to tell people about them being Bigender. All the horrible things that happened to them in their past and the horrible people they met caused them to lose trust in other people, realizing the two versions of Mars could trust each other, and only each other.

Though their eyes may look blind, they can see perfectly fine. She's 4'10, not quite 5'0, and her skin can be called either dark tan or light ish brown. She wears blue jeans, a black hoodie with a crescent moon and stars on it, and shoes and headphones that are the same color as the moon and stars.

Freckles going from cheek to cheek, over their nose as well. they have a button nose and somewhat small lips, with a somewhat round head shape, though not super round. they claws into their arms when frightened or scared, and they have a strong yet cute australian accent. {they also have a light voice which always sounds somewhat scared, their voice could be described as 'Sheepish' or 'Soft'}
Skills: Marseline is very cautious and observant, and she's great with anything that involves imagination. This includes puzzles, mazes, escaping rooms or places, and finding the best way to lose someone when chased. Meanwhile, Marsel is very fast and agile. He's quite intelligent, though not as smart as Marseline, he does have common sense. He's good at bars during gymnastics, which can come in handy during most situations where there's something up high that he can swing from.
Talents: Marsel's talent is gymnastics, specifically the bars. He's also faster than the average person, though it takes a lot of energy out of him. Marseline's talent is jumps and observation. She can find the best course of action within seconds, and can jump over nearly all obstacles, unless it's so high that it is impossible for a human to jump over.
Extra: They switch at random, but they also switch personalities in situations where the other personality would be better at. For example, if they were to be attacked by a kidnapper with bad intentions while in their Marseline personality then they would switch to their Marsel personality and hit the kidnapper, running away afterwards and leaving the kidnapper in the dust.

There are also random times where both personalities activate at once, half Marsel and half Marseline. When this happens, they communicate and strategize to each other like two different people trapped in one body.

P.S
Another note is the character has bangs that go down far enough to cover both eyes, and when they're in their Marseline identity the hair hides the eyes fully preventing eye contact, whilst in the Marsel identity the hair is up using a light gold hair pin with a crescent moon on it.

He has friends who had helped him like the nickname, and now he tells people to call him Carnie. The last thing he was doing before the explosion was writing in his notebook
Looks: Curly brown hair, pale skin. Skinny for his age, but not too bad. Freckles speckled all across his nose, and shoulders. Has short, jagged fingernails, he bites them. He also has a stuttering problem.
Skills: can hear very well.. like really well. Can work with puzzles/riddles. He is also determined.
Talents: writing, poetry, cooking, playing guitar
Extra: Havefun with him! I honestly wouldn’t want my two characters together as I see them as siblings more than a relationship hehe <3

Personality: Leviathan is very gentle, and a generous person. She is flustered easily and doesn't have a difficult time with multi-tasking. She gets stressed easily, and is fragile-minded. She acts innocent, and has a major stuttering problem. She is extremely sensitive, and can be deemed as a 'cry baby'. She gets discouraged easily.
Backstory: She was born to a family of criminals, who didn't treat her right. She ran away at the age of 10, and was found by a man named Mark. She was taken into his family, where she already had a brother named Pentil. She met Jericho, who fell deeply in love with her, and her life was great. Until now of course.
Looks: She stands at 5'0, and has a scrawny body. She's sickly pale, and seems to be skin and bone. She has a rounder face, with squishy cheeks and a button nose. She has short, messy brown hair which is always soft. She has big, almond shaped eyes which are silver. She usually wears a black sweater-dress, with gray ripped jeans. She completes the look with black converse and a flowercrown.
Skills: Very creative, and good at comforting people. Very great with literature and puzzles.
Talents: Agile and swift. She's very sneaky as well. Crafting.
Extra: Levi is Jericho's crush, and she's oblivious to it.
