I believe that it has hit a point in which there's many things wrong with this server. With the fact that the chat filter is really restrictive on what you can say and that the rules are really hard to understand, this just shows that the server has some problems that need to be fixed. I mean seriously? You're not gonna let someone type "HEYYYY!" when they're trying to greet their friend or someone else? Like come on, all it's gonna do is make people mad and if they get punished for it they may not even come back. The word "mother muffin" was completely fine but it was still blocked. I believe the only way to fix this is to base the chat punishment system and the chat filter off of context rather than word. If I were to direct mother muffin to a person, that would be a warn but if I just type mother muffin, it doesn't necessarily mean that I'm trying to bypass the chat filter. The fact that the server is dying on top of all this is a huge issue. If you guys want the server to grow DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Players won't join randomly as soon as you release a game. You have to do some more work in order to gain players. Take larger servers for example. They got huge by putting themselves on websites and adding really cool tiny things that help.

Some staff members don't seem fit for their job. I feel as if the staff team has different thoughts to which word should be allowed and which shouldn't. The leadership team should come together to decide what word means what so they have to base it off that.

Just saying, if you don't agree with what a staff member is doing//think they're doing a bad job, you have every right to make a staff abuse report - they do get looked at and dealt with.

1. A sort of advertisement;

I believe the Network have intentions of advertising the server on websites, however, due to the downtime there have been issues regarding that. (Creative restarts regularly, sometimes PZ goes down.) I'm fairly certain in order to advertise your network you need like 100% uptime, obviously something PZ lacks. This would be a great thing to have and attract users, unfortunately PZ isn't eligible, yet.
2. Time;
if you guys want the server to grow DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
It's not as easy as just saying that - implementations take time as well as final agreement. I do understand where you're coming from and I'm sure PartyZone are trying their hardest to make your playing experience a fun time and worth it.
3. Chat filter, Rules and 'Mother Muffin';
With the fact that the chat filter is really restrictive on what you can say
To my knowledge, the chat filter just makes bad words visible to the user who said it, if there are any issues with it the best way to fix it is by making a bug report.
the rules are really hard to understand
Personally, they're not really hard to understand, just lack some clarification is all. I believe they should be updated though, as rules have been added without people being aware, alongside an update of the thread, a global announcement would be good.
At any point if you don't understand a rule, you're more than welcome to message a member of the leadership team about it, or any other person you think can help.

I agree. Mother Muffin to me implies nothing inappropriate unless I really think about what it could mean. It's not really obvious. Context, ah I love that word. Contextual knowledge is a must for staff members. If staff can't detect the tone of a sentence then they may not be fit for the position. A way to make sure applicants understand context, they can add two or three questions to the helper application//interview stage such as: Would you say this sentence is rude? "I know right! He's such a d head.." (staff don't warn me please, I have no intent of swearing and such, that's an example xd if you don't like it, ask me to remove it or something.) Obviously that sentence is rude as it's directed at someone and is bypassing the chat filter by shortening the filtered word. I believe these questions or something of the sort would significantly benefit the staff team.

Sorry if this is long xd I just wanted to put my opinions somewhere too. cx Feel free to quote me and contradict my statements if you think I'm wrong at any parts. <3

I generally agree with this.

I've lost count of the amount of players leaving for unfair bans.
Most of them, i agree with.
But half the time, staff don't really listen to rant / suggestion threads unless its in the suggestion section..
Just argue against them. What's the point?

Me: Oh - OH NO
I posted a michael jackson video because it links to the fact that i want this person to write a 'thriller' video!

Staff: OHMIGURD
Warn them!! All the players are going to go binge watch michael jackson now!!! Nooo!!! Warn them!!!

There's also the fact that (i think youll know who i mean) was banned for posting 'teletubbies'

Staff:
OH GOD NO!!!
NOW OUR TEENAGE AGE GROUP OF PLAYERS ARE GONNA GO WATCH TELETUBBIES INSTEAD OF PLAYING ON THE SERVER!
WHATEVER SHALL WE DO!?

It's gotten outta hand
Certain things like big youtubers who aren't on the server, yes, i see why youd warn someone for that
But some things that people say are taken far, far too overboard.
As in, you touch somebody lightly on the shoulder to get their attention, and that person shouts theyll get you arrested for assault.

THAT overboard.

It's not necessarily the content of the video being posted lol There's a simple rule not to post unaffiliated links without permission on the PartyZone Network and if people fail to do that then they get punished, sounds fair enough to me. If you want to post a link send a conversation to Leadership on the forums asking if you're able to, if you have permission then do it.
Also staff do tend to look at these things, mainly leadership, and they take into consideration what the users are saying, and try and think of a way to come around it if any. Just because you don't see any response or immediate action doesn't mean they're not looking ;p

I get where you're coming from. I believe some things I've stated are simply a bit off but for the rules part I meant it seemed to vague to me

This is just me yet the staff being accepted aren't the right staff they need. My personal opinion so yea. Also there doesn't seem to be any short term goals or small improvements little by little. Staff just need to work things out and get organized.

The only people who can organise things officially are the Leadership team, Developers and the Event Team/Insights team. Most improvements or set goals are implicit, as keeping staff information is a vital key to whether people should keep their position or not. You may not see drastic changes, or any changes at all, but things do change.

As for the people being accepted, I can see where you're coming from - but keep in mind, these people being accepted are new to the staff position and probably haven't done it before. They need to become aware of surroundings whilst trying to keep track of who gets what punishment for doing something, you might not know it, but there's a lotttttt that helpers need to learn when being accepted, trust me ;p. So, if they don't seem 'right' it's because they're undergoing a moderation trial. On the other hand, if Moderators don't seem to be doing their job, there may be a issue, so report it to the Staff manager or make a stuff abuse report. cx

If thats not necessarily the reason, then typically theres no other reason.

I'm saying there's a line for what content would be allowed. Obviously inappropriate content and videos of other Networks are strictly prohibited, but music videos and such would be allowed as long as permission was granted.
I already stated the other reason, it's a simple rule people should be able to abide. Another reason could be that the link said in chat could lead to dangerous, untrustworthy sites, damaging player's computers etc. PZ don't want to be responsible for broken tech ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Understandable, there isn't really a good amount of helper candidates.

At the same time they have a life and they need to decide what they are going to do. Focus on the server or their own lives.

I understand that

But certain content shouldn't be warnable

Keep in mind that there isn't much going on at the moment due to the hurricane and other events happening around the world outside of online stuff cx
