Rejected LGBTQ Subtype

Hi. I realized that the
forums have become
flooded with LGBTQ
support groups.
So why take up space
in Off Topic?
You should add another subthread (Like off topic,
stories, etc.)
for LGBTQ.
There really isn't much
else to say about it.

LGBTQ has no direct connection with mcpz. In a year or two or even shorter it might not be that popular or simply said talked about. So I have to say no for this.

Different sub-forums are added due to relevance to MCPZ, everything else gets lumped into off topic, sorry.

I thought there was an overall groups section being worked on.
Also as said before is irrelevant.
also might get out of hand for discussions because of different people's opinions (even good ones) clashing

But a Groups Folder IN off-topic. Yes.

Some groups aren't getting much of attention because of all of the other off-topic/irrelevant posts.
And I believe they should.

A groups folder will be in Off-Topic so if someone needs to go to a support group they can.
So it's irrelevant but still organized.

I think it's for people to express their creativity! But having specific LGBTQ areas may let some players be let out. The community has already given the LGBTQ a lot of love, but this could also confuse people coming to MCPZ who are not a member of LGBTQ...

Not all the art there actually is relevant, but it's created by players on PZ and is an easy-to-access way of seeing people's art without digging through Off Topic.

Precisely. If there would be some form of this, it'd be
a. A support tab/folder
b. A group tab/folder

LGBTQ+ is just too specific of a subject as well as the different opinions that come with the topic, seeing as it can also take the shape of a social/political issue.

I was going to type something very similar to this, but Aiden has summed up my thoughts perfectly. Well spoken, Aiden.

Though I disagree about creating a specific sub thread for LGBTQ+ people, I believe that creating a non-server-related support section for all groups of people would be extremely beneficial to everyone in the community. This, to me, seems much more appropriate than creating a sub thread for a very specific group of people, because it would allow for everyone to share their feelings and thoughts, get help with personal issues, etc.

(I want to make it very clear that I do not mean to offend anyone by saying this. I just wanted to share my thoughts on this, because I believe I had something to say. But like always, I have a hard time phrasing things and I never know how I truly come across to people.)

Sums it up perfectly! Although that's what the community section is now, so there's not really much of a point

Sadly, we don't have room to create a forum section for every interest the community have. While it would be great for organising, I think it would get very messy to have so many sub-forums. We created Art and Graphics as it's a very general and encompasses many interests the community has relating to MCPZ and beyond. Off-Topic should be able to handle the LGBTQ threads!
