Last player in Lobby?

So I was playing Murder, I was the killer and there was only 1 person left. A friend messaged me saying they were still in the Lobby (the place before a match starts).

I would say just a common glitch, but maybe there's an actual reason.

It's not really a question He's just stating something that happened.

As stated above this may have just been a glitch. Hopefully some other staff member can cover more information on this topic.
