So, in the video, there's a boy. The boy is obviously being tortured, right? There's also a camera pointed at him. Now, let's take a look at the lyrics in the song. "Devotee" means very enthusiastic about something or someone (if I remember correctly) so, an LA Devotee would be very enthusiastic about the LA lifestyle. Now, back to the video. The boy, in my mind, is wanting to join the music or film community because he's, well, an LA Devotee. Now that the agents and producers have a hold of him, they can manipulate him and make him do whatever they want in front of the camera. As soon as he realizes this, he tries to escape, but he can't because the producers are like "NUH UH UH". So he remains there until he's older and he can escape. Now, here's the mind-blowing part about this..

No, I mean the symbolism flashing in the video, an '!' probably a gesture of warning, Triangles w/ eyes, the goat demon, and the inverted pentagram.
People do it for things though. It is a true thing that rituals happen. Look at the occult club in yande-- I mean ye rituals are real. It is like a ritual in THIS sense:
-he is made to drink something.
-He is strapped to a chair like 'there is no going back now'
-The boy seems to have changed his mind // it wasn't his decision.
-The man in the video thing kept saying something, and then the boy was now and ten stopping panicking and saying something, THAT SEEMED TO BE what the guy in the VIDEO on the wall was saying. (Hypnotising, Maybe a last resort for those who change their mind.)
-At the beginning, the girl looks around like she is.EXPECTING somethin to happen. She then gets KNOCKED OUT and DRAGGED and is given the same ritual; she is given a role in the ritual; she makes the new people in the ritual drink the water .
I know they do, but in Hollywood? For an extremely mainstream place wouldn't that be kinda weird?

Course they would. Producers / directors never get the full credit - its the voice actors / actors who get the credits. Ever seen one of those kinda of scenes in movies in a film where they get cornered when running down an alleyway and are threatened some how? Sometimes directors write stuff like that with WORSER things. Then the script editor or whatever they're called edits it to make I more.. Well.. Lets say.. With more 'sanity'
Example:
Produ/Directo: Cornered in an alleyway, told to do something quite rude, mean, illegal, etc.
Script Editor: Corned in an alleyway, kicked, punched, ran off.
In real life, though. The original stories for Disney remakes are freaky, but nobody actually has done that.
