Hello, so a few servers have recently gone down due to a certain member on the Minecraft community hacking/ddosing. He is going around all the medium large servers and making himself an owner, banning all Staff/Players, removing worlds and being racist. He has been on a few servers already and they are all currently down until further notice.

I am here to inform you all to keep a look out for the IGN "T_T". He is the hacker/ddoser. If anyone does see him on this server then I suggest you inform a Member of Staff and explain the situation if they have not seen this thread. He is joining servers and asking Staff Members who the Owner is, he will then ask if the Owner is online and if not he will go to a gamemode and grief the world using W/E after this he will ban all players and Staff. Please keep a lookout for this player!!!

Some of you may ask "How do you know all of this information?" and I answer with "I have been on 3 servers today and he has been on all 3 and done the exact same thing, asked the same questions and done the same style of griefing".

Thanks for reading and I hope this doesn't happen on here otherwise I would have no other server to use.

I did some research and found that T_T has played on nearly 200 different servers. Additionally, search up "T_T Minecraft player hacker" on Google and you'll find many videos of this player possibly hacking… but I am crunched for time, sitting at the airport right now. I can't watch through 10 videos as my flight is taking off soon. Could you pm me some names of victim servers, @Winterrzz? And could someone watch some of those videos and continue research?

If 'T_T' bans everyone the admins and the owner can access the console and unban the people that we're banned, the admins and the owner wouldn't know right? so, why don't the players just post a msg saying I was banned by T_T.

Banning everyone will cause mass panic, and it's not very good for server reputation. So that's why we wouldn't like this to happen.

^^ true! Additionally, that would be a lot of unbanning work for the admins to do when they could be focusing on getting T_T banned and securing the server more.
 
Holy Cow, On the forums it says the server is offline, and i thought of this thread, i started panicking and freaking out. xD
 
The admins can go to console and manually pre-ban whatever his name is and IP ban him, even if he didn't join yet.

That module has been bugged ever since it was added. Don't trust what it says, because thats not correct. :p

True, but people can get new IPs and hackers can bypass IP bans I think, the guy has to know how to code.
 
It's impossible for someone who isn't in a position of power to "hack" the system and ban anybody. It doesn't matter how well the guy can "code", it's not happening. Our security is pretty darn good :p

Yeah but if the hacker did ban EVERYONE (including admins and such) they won't be able to unban people because they have already been banned.

We have ways to access the server without having to log in, we can unban people without even being logged on ingame. However, it's impossible for a "hacker" to ban anyone without access to our databases, which are *very* secure.
