Hey everyone,

If you haven't read the main post for PZv2 yet, I'd recommend reading that before reading ahead.

If you have, then let's get into it!

1.12.2
Given that Elite Survival has always been on 1.8, we'll be upgrading it to 1.12.2 for the reset which will give you access to a plethora of new blocks, items, mobs and much much more. This was heavily requested, so we're glad to be able to deliver on this one specifically.

Achievements
From the release, Elite Survival will have over 300 achievements to complete which will yield you with various rewards, whether it be crate keys, money, EXP levels etc. These should provide you with a wide variety of different tasks to do while you play should you get bored of the regular survival aspect. Achievements can range from killing x number of animals or mobs to breaking x number of blocks or playing x number of hours. There'll be plenty for you to do.

Black Market
Here, you can trade crystals and shards with the dealers to gain various items such as exclusive kits, items and enchantment books. Be warned that these will not be easy to obtain and most will have a high price, so make sure you save your shards!

Crates
These are the standard crates that you get a key to unlock them with. Depending on the type of crate you open, you can be rewarded with all kinds of various rewards, whether it be MCMMO levels, claimblocks, or kits. The following crates will be available:
  • Common Achievement (earned through achievements)
  • Rare Achievement (earned through achievements)
  • Vote (earned through voting once it's enabled)
  • Rate Vote (earned through voting once it's enabled)
  • Vote Party (earned when the server reaches a vote milestone once voting is enabled)
  • Store (purchased from the store in the form of a "key all" where everyone online gets them)
Drop Party
A predefined area is set in spawn where you can start your own drop party that everyone can get involved with. A set amount of items will drop in the drop party area which can range from regular blocks, MCMMO Tokens, money and much more. These can be purchased from the store.

Economy
New to this reset is the introduction of a fully established economy. You'll be able to buy and sell blocks and items (not all will be buyable or sellable) from the server's market.

Grief Prevention
To protect land on the server, we'll be switching to a plugin we use on NemeGaming Survival called Grief Prevention. It's an extremely intuitive plugin that streamlines the process of claiming your land and giving access to your friends. You are able to give people various levels of access (whether it be to interact with levels, access containers like chests, or even build on the claim). On top of this, you can create subdivision claims (claims within claims) which allow you to create towns where citizens can only build in their plot rather than the whole town.

Item Fountain
These are similar in principle to drop parties except you can choose where they start, and they also contain far fewer and less important blocks than a drop party. Rather than drop the items from the air, they'll instead be shot up in the air like, as the name suggests, a fountain.

Ranks
Progression will be an important part of this reset of Elite Survival. Higher ranks will give you access to more options and commands, such as the ability to withdraw more money each time, access more player vaults with more rows depending on the rank, and much more. A full list of the perks will be posted another time.

Credit
In the time we've been conceptualising Elite Survival, we've gone through many suggestions that have been given over the years and we would like to thank a few people whose posts have been extremely helpful in shaping Elite Survival into what it will eventually become with this reset. Even if they're no longer part of the community, their contributions in the past have still helped.

In closing, I'd like to thank those of you that have stuck with us through thick and thin. There's still a lot we want to do with Elite Survival after release, but we believe it's best to keep the server still relatively simple, but also include some nice additions that'll give you more to do.

Hope to see you all on the network when Elite Survival v2 releases!

GEE GEE Y'ALL
woo also reset.

I'm not too sure about MCMMO, as I've never really liked it when it's been on sky block servers, but everything else sounds amazing

E.S already has McMMO.

If ya need tips on it LMK and I'll provide everything I know about what you want to learn
It is?

You guys are welcome ;P
And thanks to @NobleProductions and all of the Devs hopefully this is a start of something great.

Nice! However, how about /sethomes, on the old ES, I had gained around 20 sethomes. I don't think anyone really know how to get them, but they were so helpful, considering that ES was a friendly community with the occasional Elite who didn't read the rules and griefs. People moves great distances from spawn to find a safe location to build, For me that was 100k blocks. It would have been impossible to make anything on the server that I did without a abundance of sethomes, because I needed to travel around a lot to other people's houses, grinders & farms I was building and repairs to old builds. I needed a lot, so will there be a way to gain sethomes again? At least to the same amount I have ad before.

EDIT: MCMMO, I loves trying for #1 one there, but once someone is too high, they are never dethroned, maybe a system to check for inactivity? So people have a chance.

There'll be a way to obtain sethomes, however it won't be as necessary to be 100,000 blocks apart because you'll have tools to claim land with - your land can't be griefed unless you give permission for someone to do so

Well, resources are harder to find the closer you are to players. Since they are finite, I avoid others \o/
