River's POV

My legs swinging under me as I wait quietly for my cousin to finish counting.
"Tweeny!" He says aloud. His dark eyes scan the land scape as it adjusts to the light. I giggle. He's never going to find me here! POP. I almost fell off the branch as Josh's dark brown hair flows wildly around his eyes.
"Hey! No fair! You teleported up here!" I pouted as I stood up on the light oak branch. I couldn't hold my face. We both brushed out laughing.
"Josh! River! Come in for lunch now!" Auntie yelled over the yard. Josh went down first. For someone his powers. He's scared of heights. I was about to go down. A deadly snap came out of nowhere. I fell back on my butt. Slipping down further towards the end of the branch. It was snapping. I quickly grip the twigs to stop me from falling.
"JOSH!" I yelled. Fear filling me. My cousin just froze looking up at me.
"AUNTIE! UNCLE! HELP!" I screamed. I swung my legs wildly hoping to get up. Tears filling my eyes. My heart beating fast. The wind pushing against me like it wants me to fall off.
"HELP!" I screamed but more fearful.
"Just please! Help me!" Tears falling down my cheek like a waterfall. The branch started getting frost. It spirals around. Like a blue see through snake. Slithering quietly. Snap. I'm falling. Hair flying in my face. This is the last of me isn't it? I thought. Slam!
My body slammed into the ground. The person above me laughing manically. I spun to see Seria's terrible dark green, blue and purple hair in tangles. Her thick arms reaching for me. I waited until she was close. 1 meter away. Her face flabby and lose. Half a meter. I stuck my leg out Ready as I put the other foot on the knee. 1 quarter away. Now I thought as I rolled backwards. My foot whacked her square in the nose. I shake the hair out of my face looking ta her. Her chubby hands covering her nose. Blood splattered across the floor. The crowd around us thumping their feet. Excited on what I do next. If she wants a fight till knock out might as well. I got up to my feet and walked over. Seria's eye shut closed. As she rocks back and forth. I clutched my fists. I felt bad for her. But I don't at the same time. My foot dive into her stomach. She spews blood. I do it again but deep in her face. She laid their. Motionless.
"You did great River!" Said the chief training behind me.
"You'll be a great Dark Knight!" I nod as I walk out of the training area. My memories... their coming back again? I thought as I walked down the dark corridor. Who was that boy? Where was I then? Was I really that short when I was young? I walked in my room to hear a familiar pop. I look up. My eyes open wide.
"Long time no see cousin" Says the much older Josh.
(Yeah not as good as the stories I normally write but the next ones would be better! And also your gonna kill me for not updating Daggered Concentus and Schoolies. I'M SORRY BUT IMMA GET THEM UP REAL SOON. LIKE MAYBE IN THE MORNING FOR ME!
