So basically, I spent like 2 weeks making a murder map submission, and I've JUST realised that I built it on 1.12. Can I no longer submit this build?

If you load your map into 1.8, it will convert all the blocks it does not recognise to something extremely stupid like an open fence gate. Once you do this, you may have to rebuild some parts but with any luck it should convert to 1.8!
