INFECTION.

So recently I learned that in the dinosaur ages of Party Zone you had the Infection mini-game . Personally I want it back let me elaborate.

Regardless of what I type here on out I know someone will tell me that it was closed because of: lack of players or whatnot, though, I am not here to wonder why it was ever closed. I want you to look at downgrade for instance. I rarely see it with players unless staff is on or a YT or someone famous or someone advertises etc etc. So why is it open? It never gets players 24/7. To my understanding it was the same with Infection though WHY on earth was that closed?

If it was going to reopen I would assure you I would do my best to make it tidy (Informstaff of bugs, glitches etc) I would make sure we had players often. I would play on it my fair share too. I am NOT suggesting I would do it any differently with any other minigame before you ask.

So yeah, lemme know what you think on it.

I personally think yes this game should be added, but swap it for DG, SG or SW, not a lot of people play those games.

I first joined when Infection was still up, and if I recall correctly it was removed because of map corruption (same with Factions) and the lack of players, which made it more of a hassle to keep around. Honestly, I would love to see Infection come back up, however Sky Wars and Survival Games are still down and are in need of fixes and to be added back, so I doubt it would be readded soon.

Also, whenever I go to Downgrade to play some, I usually find a lobby with some players on it relatively quickly.

And for anyone who doesn't know what Infection was about:

Basically, a player was randomly chosen to become a zombie. It was placed in an iron bar cage at the start of the map, and villagers/the other players chose classes (one of which was speed boots, to run away from zombies) and run off into the map to hide. After about a minute, the zombie is released, and has to find the villagers that are hiding. Once found, the zombie must touch the villager (the zombie is faster than the villager) to turn it into a zombie. Then, the new zombie and the starter zombie would hunt more villagers and so on so forth. It was basically a giant hide and seek game, and you won if you were the last 3 players alive.

Your absolutely right yeh i remember it, it was linked with the same sort of problem as factions. Didn't play it often really Infection could have been a very good game though if more interest would have happened.

Absol wouldn't you like to see this INSTEAD of SG or Skywars. They have been down a while.

Your absolutely right yeh i remember it, it was linked with the same sort of problem as factions. Didn't play it often really Infection could have been a very good game though if more interest would have happened.

But before we go further with new Game modes N all i would like to say maybe we should wait for them to fix the other game modes. Like Massacre, SG and Skywars. These games could be really good and help the server a lot if you just update them and get them out n all. I do understand it will take time and they might be doing it slowly.

Yea I know but still. This can be a project to work on, Myself and hopefully a few friends will help with it. Build a few maps, Make a structre and a few plugins. I want to help the community become better and stronger however we are having big updates and we are not making much progress, or so I think. Maybe something for the future. I am already in the project of making a map. I would like to add infection with or WITHOUT Solari.

No, actually. Sky Wars and Survival Games were amazing, and still are. There's no telling when they'll be back, but these things can't be fixed in just a few minutes, and with constant upkeep of the server, Creative, Murder, Downgrade, and other things, it adds a delay as the most important thing is keeping what we can up at the moment. I would rather wait and see these come back rather than scrap them to the side and try to replace them.

I wasn't there when Infection was up, but I have seen similar games on other servers. ( I also played it irl when I was younger ) Infection type games are ligit one of my favorite types of games. I would definitely play it if came back. Please bring it back pplz!! O-O
