The whole purpose of glow is to stand out more. Having the glow colour as your rank colour is enough in my opinion. Maybe it could be a perk for E+? However, it would just be a hassle to implement for the developers and it isn't really the most important thing to have on the network.

I like the idea from SilentHowl that it could be a perk for E+! Apart from that, I'll stay neutral.

This was suggested before, and... basically people could easily abuse this. People have the rank as their glow to avoid confusion with players from far away, people can easily confuse people if they choose to use the glow colour of a mod, helper, admin and so on. I guess it wouldn’t be a huge problem if only E+ had it, but it could still cause confusion, specifically with new players.
As stated above, I disagree with this suggestion. I don’t think it would work as players can easily abuse this command, even if E+ were able to have this, they could still abuse it and could confuse new players.
How could people possibly "abuse" a command which adds a coloured glow to someone? I really do not think it can be abused or used to confuse other players.

Jules, I can see where you're coming from however if new players see users with different coloured glows then I don't think they'd question it too much, rather they'd most likely ask how they can get the glow affect. When someone has a glow surely the first thing that comes to mind won't be "the glows are associated with the ranks!" unless they've seen 2+ people with the glow affect. Therefore I do not agree that it can be abused.
I'd also like to add, does it matter if someone sees green glow for example and thinks that it's staff? I do not think so in my opinion. They only have to fly or walk up to the user to see they're not staff. It really isn't an issue in my opinion.

Glow is also for you to stand out more, that’s why it’s your rank colour. Even if one person were to pose as a moderator from afar, that can be really irritating. If they did this in an rp and placed the sign on the plot saying something like “Reminder to keep builds appropriate”. Aswell, people could easily grief the plot in the green glow and it may come across as a mod/helper griefing their plot, and what if players believed that’s what happened? They may file a staff abuse report on one of the staff members in creative at the time.
I know I’m probably coming across as a pemissist, but people do actually do things like this on other places. Not to say that it is people’s intentions here, but you never really know. This probably won’t happen because E+ paid a lot of money for their rank and I’d say they wouldn’t want to waste it by being banned. I mean, some people with ranks actually would do this, anyone can. But you’d think if you paid almost 100€/£/$ you’d try not to get banned.

Yeah, I'd very much agree Jules. However, you've got to remember that once the word gets out that glows can be changed people are going to get out of the mindset that it's a staff member if green/red. You've made valid points therefore I'm still staying neutral.
