Are you actually referring to that lil lecture that you shared with me approximately 15 minutes ago?It kinda came to my attention that a lot of people are clueless
can confirm spice is just as clueless as everyone elseAre you actually referring to that lil lecture that you shared with me approximately 15 minutes ago?
I do, but a lot of people have been making clueless comments, sooooYou do realize cancer is different for everyone, right? So in saying people are clueless, it's a bit rude.
I was fourteen when it was started, and then had to stop after two full courses because it was harming me more than it was doing good.If you don't mind me asking at what age (or date/time) did you start the treatment (don't answer if you don't want to)
Awww fourteen that's such a young age as well, I swear everyone has said this but I really do actually wish I could take the pain from you awayI was fourteen when it was started, and then had to stop after two full courses because it was harming me more than it was doing good.
No question is too personal, I really don't mind. thanks!
The chemo is basically really toxic chemicals that prevents/kills off rapidly reproducing cells. One side effect that a lot of people are familiar with is hair falls out. A lesser known side effect is damage to the immune system. The chemo was quite literally killing me, so they took me off of it. They've also tried radiation therapy (trying to kill the tumors with really intense radiation beams) and exploratory surgery to see if they could basically just yank the cancer out, none of which worked. I'm currently only on medication for the pain, and I'm not being treated (hence why I called people kinda clueless: they're wishing me luck in the "fight" but I've already lost)If you feel comfortable, I'm curious on why you aren't responding well to your therapy?
How old are you now (adding onto the question above me)
Not much to spend my life on, really. This seems really difficult to handle, and I don't wanna be the person to be cheesy and just say "You're brave and strong" because I strongly believe it doesn't do much. I hope you're currently spending your life to the fullest.
I definitely can't imagine how you're feeling, so another question I wanted to know is; how are you feeling about news you've received?
I'm not personally involved in any charities but if you insist, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a fantastic institution to donate to. Please please feel no obligation though. Is there like a charity I could donate to via credit card or something, I just want to help you
