Well, in Korean shopping, there's a lot of this to buy, so I've compacted as much as that into one thread...
First, you need to know how to say:
실례합니다, 이거 얼마에요? [sheel-yeh-haam-nee-dah, ee-goh ohl-maa-eh-yo?] Excuse me, how much is this? Preferably pointing to the object that you are asking for. You could also say:
실례합니다 그거 얼마에요? [sheel-yeh-haam-nee-dah, keu-goh ohl-maa-eh-yo?] Excuse me, how much is that? For this, definitely, point to the object you are trying to find the price for.
You will receive an answer such as:
이거 ______원 이에요/입니다. [ee-goh _______wohn i-eh-yo/eem-nee-dah] This is ______ Won.
The Korean currency is the 원 (won) and about 1,000원 is equivalent to $1. It is normal for the person to say that it costs 10 thousand won, it's about $8/$9.
Here are some common prices:
일천원 [eel-chohn-ohn] 1,000원 ($0.93)
이천원 [ee-chohn-ohn] 2,000원 ($1.87)
삼천원 [sahm-chohn-ohn] 3,000원 ($2.80)
사천원 [saa-chohn-ohn] 4,000원 ($3.74)
오천원 [oh-chohn-ohn] 5,000원 ($4.67)
육천원 [yook-chohn-ohn] 6,000원 ($5.61)
칠천원 [chil-chohn-ohn] 7,000원 ($6.54)
팔천원 [pahl-chohn-ohn] 8,000원 ($7.48)
구천원 [goo-chohn-ohn] 9,000원 ($8.41)
만원 [maan-wohn] 10,000원 ($9.35)
이만원 [ee-mahn-wohn] 20,000원 ($18.69)
백만원 [bheng-mahn-wohn] 1,000,000원 ($934.69) (not as common)
There are a bunch of things that you can buy, so first let me start with some more phrases:
I will buy this, please.
이거 사겠습니다, 주세요.
[ee-goh saa-gehss-seum-nee-dah, joo-seh-yo]
Thank you! (you can use these phrases interchangeably)
감사합니다/고맙습니다!
[gam-saa-ham-nee-dah/goh-map-seum-nee-dah]
What is this?
이거 뭐입니다?
[ee-goh mwoh-eem-nee-dah?]
Can I have a discount? (literally means "Discount, please!")
깎아 주세요?
[kka-kka joo-seh-yo]
What do you recommend?
무엇은 추천합니다?
[mu-ot choo-chohn-ham-nee-dah?]
There are SO many more phrases, tell me which ones you would like to know.
Here are some items that you can buy. If you wanted to say 'Can I have this ______, please?' then fill in the blank in this Korean sentence with whatever you want.
[eeh _____ joo-seh-yo]
이 ______ 주세요.
Please give me this ________. (replace the 이 with 그 to mean 'that')
[eeh _____ ohl-maa-eh-yo?]
이 ______ 알마예요?
How much is this ______?
I hope this somewhat helps!
BTW, first to 4 votes in the poll wins.

There used to be a Korean vowel which was symbolised using a dot, like a full-stop. This vowel was pronounced 'au', like an 'A' sound transitioning to a 'euh' sound. This vowel no longer exists in Standard Korean.
However, one island which is off the coast of South Korea known as 제주 (Jeju) still uses this vowel, and for that reason, 60% of Korean vocabulary from the dialect spoken here is not existent in Standard Korean.
